    The owner has been contacted , that is all I am able to do , the was absolutely no reason to start all those threads and to be frank I am disappointed

    I don't see why you're disappointed. We've all been polite and patient.

    Nothing is getting any better. It's getting worse. The members' complaints are being ignored by default.

    The frustration level is high.

    That is certainly a valid complaint. We all want this place to do well.

    Getting kicked off constantly means people are more likely to move on.

    And STILL there are no answers. The site is getting donations and sponsor money.
    So there is money to up the bandwidth, expand the database, put in more firewalls.

    That should take care of the 3 possibilities I'm hearing:

    hacking
    database insufficient
    bandwidth insufficient

    So which is it?
    What is the owner doing exactly???

    The problem wasn't as bad when I came around, which was about a month ago I think?

    I don't really mind that I have to wait two hours to post a single comment. If the website isn't working I just go and do other things (Exercise, work on other projects, etc). It only bothers me if I have an extremely long post.

    It's annoying, but nothing that would make me want to go and spend my time somewhere else.

    What other political forums are there anyway?

    Yes, the site has problems, and the Admin is working to fix it. Why do you think the problem is being ignored? You can't just snap your fingers and fix the place, it requires a lot of time and effort to find out what the problem is, and then to decide on a solution.

    Be patient.

    It doesn't always lag. So why did it lag between 1145 and 4pm est today? What was different during those hours and during this hour?

    Why aren't the pointers pointing to the newest unread posts any more? That is a separate problem.

    I don't know. It seems to happen during the night for me, which would be around afternoon for you guys. We haven't figured it out yet, but it is being worked on. These things can take some time.

    Somehow it doesn't seem to have slowed you down. The fact you can post a complaint about forum slowness every .0012 seconds means the site is too (*)(*)(*)(*) fast.

    It doesn't bother me much. I haven't posted much here for a very long time. My average posting number is still over 10 a day, but considering it was at about 14 a year ago, I rarely post anyways. I click on the bookmark I have for this site, and then do something else in another tab. If PF opens, fine. If not, I don't really care. What am I missing? The uninformed babbling of some partisan hack who tells me in 3 sentence posts about how Obama/the tea party is the root of all our problems? Even worse they tell me that, without presenting any evidence, reason, or argument. If anything it is good when the site doesn't open. It leaves me to pursue more productive endeavors!!
