How long are Biden's German Shephards allowed to bite the hired help?

Aren't you just assuming the worst here? Besides, it's a rescue dog, so it probably didn't have the best start in life at no fault of the Bidens'.

Yeah, I've been on the board for the shepherd rescue and work with another one now. I'm pretty familiar with how these dogs pass temperament tests, so they don't wind up taking up space in a foster home forever. While they do often need some additional training, they respond very well. That's why I can't imagine someone like biden not bothering to have his shepherd trained by professionals. These are working dogs, they need intellectual and physical stimulation on a daily basis or they will get bored and cause issues.

He's responsible for getting this training done.

I do NOT understand why DOGS are given free reign in the White House....surely they could be kept in a specified area...they are NOT human, they are NOT children, they are animals and should be kept under control...

Yeah, Jill is likely the worst of the bunch - an educated educator. And Joe, depraved, serving his foul beastie interests in Washington his entire adult life and amassing billions in the process. Totally depraved! Beau Biden, totally depraved! His wife and daughter died righteously because of their horrid lib depravity well back in 1972 and Joe and Jill, together since 1975 represent all that is wrong with the left.

Kudos to you spouting this inane tripe. With your idol sporting his euro trash hooker and her I really don't care do u jacket and her full page images all over the world. With his son-in-law's family's unfortunate ownership of a property addressed at 666 Fifth Avenue. The ***** grabber in chief.

Depravity - you apparently don't have a clue of its definition.

For me, the nature of the situation matters. Dogs use "corrective" bites to socialize, even with their own pups. If it was a "nip" that didn't break the skin and that was in a reasonable context, I'm not going to hold that against a dog. Happened to me when I was a kid and ignored the dog's boundaries. That's a situation that just calls for further training, both for the dog and the humans around that dog.

Once there is a bite serious enough to break skin, or a threat of one, then that's another story.

Not sure of the dog's exact story, but he is 3 years old and the Bidens have had him since 2018. Do the math.

It does seem like lots of people claim 'rescue' these days. Not sure what the term even means anymore except that the dog wasn't bought from a breeder.

They adopted him when he was a puppy:

The newest member of the Biden family, a dog named Major, first came into their lives in March of 2018 when he was still a puppy.

Big deal. Do the math, Etc...

    You're welcome.:salute:

It turns out that the dog was a Democrat as a puppy. (Then his eyes opened!)

Since the bites, staff has been equipped with Snausages!

You're assuming he did not have the dog professionally trained. Seems to me that may well have been done but did not work in this case, whether due to the dog or the particularly demanding environment of the White House.

All I’m saying is if that animal were properly trained I seriously doubt that would have happened. On that I would gladly wager. But I could lose, maybe WH employees are acting like clowns around the dog.

Biden’s dogs sound like they were manufactured to be pets. Major? The most stereotypical name one could choose. Why not spot? Not strong enough. Needs to exude “power”. Major sounds good:)

The last president had really odd names for his pets.

    Eric, Don Jr., Ivanka...

Major is a massive improvement. :D

I think German shepherd is a poor breed to be running around loose at the White House. You know lots of people of color have had bad experiences with police K9 units who use them as attack dogs.

Purely breed-based considerations, like all anecdotally based considerations (see above), are pure ignorance. They are a lazy, dishonest attempt to replace logic with "Well, you know what I heard . . . "

    Pathetic, lazy, and dishonest.

I'm just saying if it was Trump's German shepherd biting people in the White House there would be more people criticizing his choice of breed of dog. But you would've defended Trump, no? It's not Trump's fault his German shepherd attacks people of color. He's never been around people of color before. Keep making excuses for Biden then.

And they would be wrong if that were to happen . . . though Trump's disdain for dogs makes that an impossibility in the first place.

If you're saying Trump doesn't like dogs I concede the point. I don't see what that has to do with Biden letting German shepherds run loose in the White House though.

I see no evidence that Biden is "letting attack dogs run loose in the White House."

Reports say people have been bitten. If your news source is CNN or NPR you probably didn't hear.

CNN and NPR have covered these events. No, this isn't the same as Biden "letting attack dogs run loose in the White House." Anyone who has ever encountered a dog should know this.

Jill Biden should be charged with Elder Abuse.

I see you went with the TDS angle. Way to fail.

Dogs are very intuitive and they can sense Evil, so considering the fact that he's surrounded by Liberal Democrats, it doesn't surprise me that he's lashing out and biting. I'd probably do the same thing if I was surrounded by that much Negative Energy.
