How many civilians Obama administration has killed ?

So it's the time to apologize and everything be OK, isn't it, gentlemen?

I have yet to hear Obama apologize for ANYTHING....and in this he certainly should not either. If some freakin' terrorist nut job who KNOWS he is a target decides to go to his sisters wedding....HE killed his sister.

 

Where is your humanity, tecoyah!? I've always considered you a decent, moral (and very intelligent) person....innocent children are at that wedding! You're being selfish with that type of thinking. Plus, you're just creating more terrorists with every innocent person you (yes, you, as we elect our gov't officials who order this slaughter) kill....for your children's generation to have to deal with. You can't kill your way out of a faith-based war. Faith itself must be confronted. Faith is belief w/out evidence.

The legacy we are leaving your children with is...endless war. No other generation has done that....so we are the worst generation ever. We ought to be ashamed of ourselves.

 

He doesn't give a damn about poor, innocent, faceless, brown-skinned, non-Christian people who live half-way around the world, that's why! Oh, did I mention they are poor? As long as his 401(K) is doing well, hey, no problem!

Faith....faith is the problem....faith in an invisible man who lives in the sky who will punish me when I die if I don't believe that his magic is actually real, and who will give me 72 virgins if I slaughter innocent people for him in some airport. No, dude, YOU vote, those officials you vote for make that policy, so YOU killed his innocent sister and her innocent 2 year old child who have done absolutely nothing to harm you!

 

Drones, in large measure, do not target individuals (unless special intelligence is available). They target groups of people that match certain guidelines as possible terror actors. This type of filtering is not terribly accurate, although they do manage to bag a few bad guys. In many cases, they target groups that turn out to have nothing at all to do with terrorism - this is extremely well-documented, btw.

It is a low-cost alternative to boots on the ground. That's the basic attraction.

Yeah, that happens when the "pilot/operator" is half-way around the planet in Florida, and his weapon of mass destruction is 30,000 feet up in the air away from the wedding party that he's about to bomb. The technology has made it like a video game to us - made innocent people half-way around the world like nameless orcs in a Lord Of The Rings game - to be killed with very little mercy, with very little compassion.

Let's love everybody....enough so that we cancel drone strikes.

My humility for these people left me when they declared Jihad and then acted on it. These jerk offs want war...we need to give it to them, and we have better pop guns.

We need to determine our ANNUAL INNOCENT DEATHS THRESHOLD (AIDT) - just how many innocent people, especially women and children, are we willing to kill each year to achieve our goals. I say 15. Yep, 15. So we've obviously exceeded our quota for the year, so time to stop the drone strikes, and take on faith itself, instead.

Hey, they are poor, powerless, have brown skin, and are hell-bound anyway because they worship a different god, so golly, what's the problem!?

 

I have always considered you to be a thoughtful individual....Please think about what the POTUS is in charge of doing and what this often entails. Obama is charged with defending every person in the United States from people who have publically stated they want to kill them, and are doing so pretty consistently. If they happen to be predominantly "Brown Skinned", poor and Islamic....well, that is who they happen to be.
They may "Live Halfway Around the World", but the world is not very big anymore and they have moved in here...we should stop them before they take over the block.

 

Many want to leave Islam, but Islam teaches to kill them if they do, and they of course know this, so we need to help them out....not bomb them from 30,000 feet.

 

I suppose we could instead just send in a bunch or our soldiers and hope they don't get killed.

 

Stop faith, yes. The only long-term solution. POTUS is an intellectual coward for not doing that - he runs interference for their faith, incredibly! He's more afraid of tackling faith than he is of killing innocent people. His own faith is killing innocent people, in that regard.

Obviously we need to tackle the underlying problem.....faith (belief w/out evidence needs to be attacked...they believe that a "jinn" could be living in their nose right now, for example, with obviously not one shred of evidence...insane!!) But yes, when we do that they'll counter that the talking snake, and the magic invisible zombie from Nazareth have no evidence either, so, uh, it's going to get dicey for sure.)

You propose only short-term solutions, my friend. Time to look at your grandchildren's generation, and what long-term solutions will need to be in place for them to live in a permanent peace. When the terrorists get nukes, OUR generation will be to blame, and we'll have f'ed up our progeny's lives forever.

 

Sure, if you just want to "kick the can down the road" and create even more future terrorists - for your children's childen's generation to have to deal with! Sure.

 

Obama has not sent an army into a land war. Most Americans across the spectrum are glad for that.

You do understand the impossibility in that correct? Not only does that fly in the face of our Constitution it cannot be done in the first place (though I wish it could). My solution obviously sucks, as does the whole situation....but unless you have a more capable and viable solution it is what it is.
