Kimaris, even as a hypothetical your post makes no sense. Violations of state law must occur in the state. If they occur out of state the state has no jurisdiction. So, if abortion is illegal in Illinois, abortions that occur in thew State of Illinois would be prosecuted under their law.

Abortions that occur outside the state would be outside their jurisdiction.

For example. State A requires that a child's parents be notified before she receives an abortion. The child is in state B for the summer, gets pregnant, and state B allows abortion at will for children without parental notification. What happens? Nothing. The law in state B is what applies. Law in state A is irrelevant. State law applies only for offenses committed in the state.

Since your basic hypothetical is nonsensical then every question that comes from that is equally pointless.

Abortion is legal, and will remain so. The supposition of the topic is invalid. Might as well guess what will happen when Zeus returns from Olympus. The MOST the states can do is not allow any state funding for abortion. Any other thing they decide on would be invalidated by federal statute.

Abortion should be handled in all states the same way, legally. If any state outlaws abortion then the US federal govt should send in the military to enforce legal abortion.

Abortion affects the life of a human. You cannot equate it to a drug. If I cannot kill another human, why should killing an unborn baby be treated differently?

Why is it that if the mother wants the baby, someone else killing it has killed two people, yet when the mother does not want it, it is an abortion?

Hiding behind legislation does not hide you from the truth or your immorality.
