    What I would do.

Run home, get inside, lock the door, call the police.

    What I would not do.

After reaching home, double back and attack the menacing black man because that would be incredibly stupid , not only would it be completely illegal but obviously I would be risking my life.

I wonder.. He may have been afraid that George would know where he lived. No question that I would have been afraid of George under those circumstances.

Of course I am old .. and I would have conked George with a flower pot and called the police.

So you would have attacked someone you thought was following you with a weapon even though they had made no direct threat to you. Since following someone is not illegal then you would have been breaking the law and would rightfully be put in jail for Aggravated Battery by ambushing someone going about their lawful business. Or if you didn;t knowck them out they would be fully within their rights to use lethal force against you.

You bet.. He followed me and didn't identify himself..

What exactly was George's "lawful business" ?

Not illegal. He had every right to follow you. He has the right to use lethal force against you as a result. I

Following someone he judged as suspicious with a proven intent to report any incident to police.

I expect YOU to think.. How was George's lawful business different from Trayvon's lawful business of walking home from the store.

The law states that both persons were acting lawfully until Martin attacked Zimmerman.

"may", we know what he did and that was after losing Zimmerman, he wouldn't have known where he lived, he decided to go back and confront the "white ass cracka" he was not in fear. Had he been in such fear the most reasonable action would have been to seek the safety of his home, to think that he believed a guy sitting in a car was going to go beat down a door of an apartment where he had no idea who was inside or whether they were armed or whether the police had been called is totally absurd. Remember there is nothing it the statement of the girl friend that Zimmerman had run after him to the apartment, as soon as Martin ran off he told her he lost him and had lost him for several minutes.

What has that to do with anything? Both Zimmerman and Martin were acting legally THEN Martin abandoned his legal action and decided to confront Martin. This too was legal. THEN Martin Attacked Zimmerman. Martin was no longer acting in a lawful fashion whilst Zimmerman continued acting legally.

Zimmerman only said that he observed Martin peeking into houses after he was charged. Convenient. George Zimmerman is a proven liar and not reliable.

He didn't. Judging from his NEN call, Martin was being totally lawful.

Well, the argument was probably because Trayvon was a child his brain was not well formed yet, he really couldn't help it.

I have no doubt that TM was afraid of George. I certainly would be since he failed to speak.

And THAT is the good old fashioned COMMON SENSE I had talked about in my post....... Thank you! For some strange reason, the Martin supporters can't understand why that was a stupid thing for Martin to do..... after all, Z was 'stalking' him and making M nervous and unhappy.........

The kid was home or as Sadamie said 'almost home'.... so finish the journey and stay in behind locked doors and call the cops if it was necessary. That is what I would have expected my son to do, to use the brains he was blessed w/and not go back out, thinking he was Rambo and most of all, not even thinking of the possibility of the other having a weapon.........

But then, if my son had been on his 3rd suspension, he would NOT have been allowed to go out for any reason........ in my home, there was this thing called 'consequences'........

For what its worth, Rachel Jeantel said that Martin didn't have his hood over his head initially, but said that Martin told her that he was going to put it over his head well into the event.

    It was raining..

I wear hoodies when I walk in the winter. Its hardly a threat. Everyone wears them.

No.. Trayvon never followed George.. You really should have enough discipline to ferret out the facts and live with them.

Right. M was so afraid of G that he decided to go back and beat him up..... M was so afraid of G that he didn't even dare call the cops - guess he felt 'safer' to stay on phone and babble to his gf..... what were you saying about 'critical thinking'?

As you say, its pretty rediculous from Martins perspective to see a pickup in a gated community that is following you and the guy gets out of his truck to chase you to your own home while his truck is parked outside! Lets not forget that Zimmerman quit following Martin within seconds and was walking around and talking on his phone. Yep, that is typical of creepy $$$ crackers, drive around in a truck, get out and walk around while talking on the phone. Yep, George Zimmerman-Master criminal! lol

Putting it that way, you brought up a very good point and it is laughable.

The Martin supporters will never accept the fact that this troubled 17 yr old kid was headed down the wrong path and unfortunately, didn't have the 'tough love' parenting he really needed.

Instead of hearing a loud, resounding "NO, you're not going anywhere w/o adult supervision, not even to buy tea and skittles. You're staying here and we're going to have a man-to-man talk about where you got the women's jewelry from and I expect to hear the truth and we're going to talk about your education that you're screwing up and your future, that doesn't look to bright right now......"

Sometimes I wonder if the Martins tho't their son was just going thru a 'phase' and he'd end up being a rocket scientist or something really impressive......?

    What argument?

    - - - Updated - - -

So frightened that even though he had actually gtotten away from Zimmerman he doubled back ,confronted and attacked him. I don;t think so

For some strange reason, the Martin supporters just can't see the logic...... there seems to be a very blurry line b/t their world of reality and fantasy.... no common sense, no logic, no ability to see the clear pix, can't connect the dots.

Oh well! That's what makes them 'different' I guess........

His story was the same from the getgo and the interrogators found no inconsistencies. Martin was acting suspiciously that night according to Zimmerman and his call to NEN.

    - - - Updated - - -

There is plenty of doubt and in fact the evidence shows differently.

Martin was afraid of the unknown man in the pickup. Martin apparently wasn't afraid of the the guy he saw walking around that he seen close up.
Again, I'm afraid of whats under my bed until I look underneath only to see a sock. Ive been afraid of shadows, acorns dropping from trees in the woods and even afraid of silhouettes at night. Ive been afraid of many varied things until I actually saw them for what they were.
You assume that Martin being afraid at one point translates to Martin being afraid at all points. Just another logical fallacy.

    Respectfully,
