I agree with you there; Obama intimately knows a thing or two about Islam.

What a load of crap. Baghdad is over 500 miles away from Tehran. The U.S.A. did not encroach on Iranian sovereign soil, unlike what the Iranians did through the Iraqi Militia (Leader killed with Soleimani) to our embassy. Not one U.S. plane, missile, or bullet were aimed at Iran. All acts on Iranian soil, were by Iranians. To blame the U.S. for anything that has happened on Iranian soil is a partisan's intellectually dishonest rant.

The Iranians shot that plane down all by themselves. No one helped them save the Russians that provided the missile system.

The Iranians protesting in mass recognize this and want the corrupt regime out. They are protesting the Mullahs openly. Now, that you can blame on Trump if you were consistent, but you are not.

This wasn't about an endless war and he has brought troops home. This was about taking out the top terrorist leader in the world and there is no question he had the authority and it was the proper action.

Why do you doubt the multiple reports, refute them.

You keep saying that, but offer no explanation. Why do you think he had the authority? And, if he did not, are you arguing that the end justifies the means? If so, you've abandoned the rule of law.

Then you support American participation in globalization. You feel we have the responsibility to bring those human/civil rights to the rest of the world? Maybe you should try and sell that idea at the next Trump rally?

Sounds like BS pushed by the admin, like their BS about multiple imminent embassy attacks

    Yeah.

    A Bronze Medalist in Taekwando.

Clearly a Cataclysmic Defection that is going to reset the Entire 2020 Olympic Narrative.

Even if Simone Biles defected to Albania, it would be a mere blip compared to the Cataclysmic (Olympics-Altering) Defection of this Iranian Medalist.

    "The Tsunami" Alizadeh. Super Cool.

Maybe she can get a WWE Gig.

More power to her. I wish her all the best

Where did he get the authority? You're concerned about the rule of law?

It comes from the War Powers Act of 1973.

    SEC. 2. (c)

The constitutional powers of the President as Commander-in-Chief to introduce United States Armed Forces into hostilities, or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances, are exercised only pursuant to (1) a declaration of war, (2) specific statutory authorization, or (3) a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.

Our armed forces had been attacked. Our embassy had been attacked. And the director of those attacks was targeted. All under the rule of law.

Leftists will argue regardless of facts if they think it might possibly make Trump look bad. Of course they warned us. The last thing Iran wants is the U.S. taking out their refineries and missile/nuclear sites.

Keep going...I am concerned about whether or not he provided the statutory required information regarding that attack to Congress. I believe he met the time requirement, within 48 hours, but I'm uncertain about the content of the message (or lack of content). And, it appears both Paul and Lee had the same concerns. Also...in regard to international law, I would think it would require the Iraqis be notified of both the threat to our forces and our intention to strike back on their soil. The reporting requirements are: a) the circumstances necessitating the introduction of United States Armed Forces. b) the constitutional and legislative authority under which such introduction took place. c) the estimated scope and duration of the hostilities or involvement.
My understanding is that the administration is using the AUMF Congressional Resolution of 2002 as the legislative justification. I think that's questionable. The 2002 resolution was in reference to Al Qaeda and the Taliban, not pro-Iranian forces in Iraq.

    How many DEAD?

    In the Hundreds?

Are these the same sources that told us about the ""Warplanes" and the "70 Casualties" the other night?

    Sounds serious.

I can wait for REAL Proof (instead of spreading the latest FAKE narratives (making the rounds on Twitter)).

Oh, and back to the OP Topic, I hope these "protests" remain peaceful.

I would hate to see Trump responsible for even MORE Innocent Blood.:salute:

Meanwhile, Trump warns Iran not to kill protestors, while assuring them we are welcome to talks. Guess he wants them to sign some sort of denuclearization agreement...you know...it worked out so well with Kim.

Agreed. After all, there were approximately 4 million protesters in the streets the day after Trump's inauguration and I don't think he shot any.

It's the only medal an Iranian female has ever won, and it was supposed to be a symbol of how the Iranian regime was not oppressive to women.

She pretty much KOed that false narrative when she called out the regime for its hypocrisy.
