I beleive the Tea Party is strongly tied to racism.

Stupid argument. That would be like me saying I've never seen a moon rock, so therefore, they must not exist.

I'm sure if he heard somebody say something racist, he would have seen a racist at that point.

These must have seemed like stronger arguments in your head. What do you think about them, now?

The Tea Party was started under Bush, but it grew when Obama got elected - and photos like this don't help

The Democrat and Republican parties have far more registered voters than people who sign up for the Tea Party thing.... I am also betting that there are many racists in both of those parties, in fact I would bet far more racists identify themselves as either republican or democrat. Therefore they are both racist groups as well!

Why so much racism in the political parties!!!?? Can't we all get along.

The answer is "NO" so long as we have a movement of leftists and multi cultural fanatics that seek to tear our nation asunder via government control of our policies.

It's a creation of Fox "News." It should be called the Fox "News" Tea Party.

Seriously, Tea Partiers and their supporters should stop acknowledging the accusations of racism altogether. It's nothing but an ad hominem-style attack designed to distract from the issues. The Dumbocrats can't argue against the Tea Party maturely, so they don't.

Thats kind of how I ended up feeling about it and why I don't associate with conservatives socially anymore unless its business or family.

The size of their strawmen are in direct proportion to the threats to their agenda.

we live in a media controlled nation and that media is, for the most part, an arm of the liberal establishment. whatever media claims, there will be thousands of low information malcontents willing to believe it. they are told by a multitude of agenda driven talking heads that the tea party is racist, that voter id is designed to disenfranchise minorities or that zimmerman is guilty and they nod their heads in mock wisdom, agreeing whole-heartedly with their idols. i suppose we ought to get used to it. the bliss of ignorance seems to be the "next big thing".

You can't swing a cat without hitting a racist around here. You suppose that might have something to do with it?

I hear ya... I haven't heard a single liberal denounce Obama's communist mentorship, so I choose not to associate with liberals/communists.

You really think there are that many racists around you?

Wow. I would suggest you hang around with a different class of people.

David Duke said Jews are destroying America? I must have missed that part. Please tell me minute and seconds so I can review. I will gladly join you in saying he is anti-Jew if I missed such a statement.

It's the sign of a failed argument, and the arguer desperately clinging to whatever morsel of their argument they can hang on to. Frankly, I think it makes people look even sillier, but hey, their choice.

When I said 'around here' I meant on this board. And I'm sure you'd like me to just get lost, but for now I must disappoint you.

I would hate for you to get lost. What good would this board be if it were all people with the same views slapping each other on the back? :)

Dean wanted to take back the country where you were rewarded for your work. The Tea Party wants to take back the country where blacks are not allowed on golf courses except to re-sod the greens.

So are you saying that racists are kooks, TC?

Because you just threw a big insult at some of the rightwing posters here who are proudly racist.

No, the sign of a failed argument...is a rightwinger trying to claim there are "none or almost no" racists in the Tea Party.....when clearly we have several here alone who admit to being TP and proudly racist.

    - - - Updated - - -

"based on nothing"? Brewskier....if you owned a country club would you let blacks be members???

((Remember, we have lots of your previous posts easily to access. :) ))

Link to any right winger saying there are no racists in the Tea Party? In any large pool of people, there will be racists.

The thing is, liberals just like throwing out the accusation because they can't forward their arguments on the facts.

Phoebe insinuated that the phrase "taking back America" is indicative of racism. Howard Dean has two books with that phrase. Using her logic, Howard Dean is a racist. But... wait... she has an explanation! Two entirely different meanings. Of course, she failed to substantiate that with any kind of credible evidence, but few people were expecting that, anyway.

It was nice how you tried to redirect the conversation for her, though.
