How many examples of this do you think it would take to reinforce this point for you?

I don't pretend I know what causes folks to want to not be their gender. I know the manifestation of it though. I am familiar with many men who hated being gay who fantasized about becoming women so it wasn't abhorrent to them that they were gay. And being a woman would make them attractive to straight guys who they lusted after. They just thought that gay wasn't normal. And they wanted to become normal. Even though it could never be achieved. Their fantasy was stronger than the medical solutions out there.

Look, if it were just confused people with mental health issues that would be one thing but keep in mind that between 1.5 and 2% of babies are born “intersex” with ambiguous genitalia. What if the majority of cases actually turn out to have one of the multitude of underlying genetic conditions causing this? Would you still want the place closed down?
