Totalitarian regimes DO NOT disagree with Trump. They love him. He is giving them what they have craved for decades...acceptance from the United States.

Three years in and you are still sucking up to Obama. Fascinating.

Facts are facts. Your unwillingness to address them doesn't matter. As far as Obama goes, my post history proves I've denied that he deserves the credit for it either. But that's another fact and thus unlikely to be addressed. Fascinating.

I've said it dozens of times by now: Obama supporters mistake correlation for causation. Trump supporters can't even get the correlation part right.

EVERYTHING Trump does seems to be aimed at self-aggrandizement, fmw. I'm not sure how you cannot see that, but with all the respect in the world, explaining it more than it has been explained in opinion piece after opinion piece is not worthwhile.

If that were true then he would mention himself in every speech hundreds of times like Obama did and not buck the system but he is there to buck the system and he is doing a great job. The sheep are now all in for protecting the deep state.

He does. He mentions himself at least as often as Obama mentioned himself, and anyone claiming that he is not focused on self-aggrandizement needs either start paying attention or do some serious soul searching regarding their willing self-deception.

Trump: "I am the only one who can ____."

Fill in the blank...and you get most of Trump's speeches.

No, that isn't his policies. It is his words that do that. Ignore the words, pay attention to the actions. He is a bragging exaggerator that does good things for the country. And I think opinion pieces are nothing more than opinion which amounts to nothing.

I do not doubt you could show me a graph starting at a nadir, 2008, that shows improvements after Obama took office. Things were record breaking bad. It would have taken some real doing to make things worse. That's a very weak measure. The more interesting thing we're seeing is the Left trying to tell us money isn't that important: vote against Trump anyway. For instance, as black unemployment hits record lows, I understand this demographic that normally votes 95% Democratic now has a 34% favorable rating of Trump. I think they're seeing the difference in their wallets. This likely has the dems horrified. I'll try to find one of these money isn't everything sort of thing I'm writing of... more soon.

Okay...so here you are offering your opinion...which you opine amounts to nothing.

I think opinions are worthwhile to consider...and I do not think my are "nothing."

There's no reason someone can't have a problem with both. I can't stand him personally and I also can't stand most of his policies. He circumvents Constitutional separation of powers to levy taxes that he doesn't understand based on an economic concept that he also doesn't understand.

You can quit left baiting. I'm to the right of Trump (and likely you as well) on economics. Money does matter. It is just that there is no rational excuse for giving him credit when the money is following the same trends that he inherited. What you say about Obama is a good reason not to necessarily credit him for the change . . . but it still doesn't address why the trend hasn't changed under Trump.

"He's in the Oval Office and the numbers are good, therefore they are good because he is in the Oval Office" is not a good argument. Frankly, I think I've met rock collections smarter than this argument. For black people to suddenly start voting for Trump because of this kind of "logic" would be cultish superstition.

I've done the whole "count how many times" exercise before. Perhaps even with you. Also, your initial claim came with no proof.

Why wouldn't they, just curious... are blacks some how internally programmed to vote for the ones who kept them in chains?

Try reading the whole sentence this time. Basic rationality test:
    * I went to the store.
    * Only I can save the country.

Both sentences contain the word "I," but one is self-aggrandizing and the other isn't. Can you tell which?

Please re-read the post you quoted. I didn't say who they should vote for or even say they should never vote for Trump. I said THE REASON PROVIDED to vote for Trump was a bad one. It is.

Sure. Or claiming to be the greatest President since Lincoln, or claiming to have superior genetics, or claiming to be a genius, or claiming that God intervened to show his approval at your inauguration, or taking credit for laws that passed before you were even President, etc. etc.

Although I missed something before that was really telling. Your original claim was that Obama was self-aggrandizing simply because of how often he mentioned himself . . . then you mocked the idea that simply mentioning oneself is self-aggrandizing. Wonder where that double standard came from.
