If we are going to have Gay Pride month, what's wrong with promoting inclusion and having Heterosexual is Awesome Month?

 

Being gay doesn't make you sterile.

 

Because you guys don't want to promote heterosexuals, you want to denigrate homosexuals.

 

If Straight People can celebrate Gay Pride, Gay People should be able to enjoy Hetero-Awesomeness. Afterall, Hetero-couplings are the reason all of us are alive.

Yes, I understand the excuse. Doesn't matter to me. Like I said in the post you quoted, by doing such things the government is not remaining neutral, which it should be. Such things as "white pride month", "black pride month" etc etc are social arguments. The government should not be taking sides in social arguments. Let The People work it out. So, the ONLY things I think should be celebrated by the government is our Founding, and things related to veterans. That's it. Everything else, Christmas, Pride Month (of any stripe) etc etc.... ALL of it should be ignored by the Government.

Agreed and look at how quickly they tried to shift the argument from the topic, hetero, to something else.

It reveals that they don't like the ground they stand on in this debate, so they are trying to move it to somewhere else. That's a 'tell' and a concession.
