All the fun things in life are sins... I don't want to spend an eternity freezing my butt on a cloud listening to preachy sermon and harp music. I want to drink beer, whisky and snort coke with the like of Lemmy, Freddy while Marilyn is giving me a bj in hell!
Misery last a lifetime for those who don't sin. They waste their life opportunities, and only at the last moment they realise the fun they could've had.
Yes...they surely have regrets about things they were too afraid to experience, but that doesn't mean they would have been happier actually doing that stuff...except maybe in their imagination. In fact most if not all that makes humans happy or sad is simply thoughts in their head about the past or what might happen in the future.
I disagree. What makes human happy or sad are the chemicals released from the brain while they're doing something, not the thoughts. People who don't sins cut themselves from the instant gratification of those act.
That is correct...because "thinking" is the problem. The actual content of the thinking is not all that important. The church connotation of sin is portrayed as something evil. The actual meaning of sin is an archery term meaning "missing the mark". The drugs and alcohol you mentioned make you feel better because they cloud the thinking that was making you miserable in the first place.
But, as I said, I never felt miserable before, during or after doing a sin. The more sinful the act, the better I feel afterward. You see, to feel remorse you have to care... I don't.
Because the Final Judgment is the employing of a set of Law applicable to both angels and humans. It is expected that 2/3 angels will pass the Final Judgment to enter Heaven. However under Satan's effort, no humans can pass such a judgment of Law. Either men shall be fully destroyed by a flood, or an alternative must be sort out. Of course this alternative is Jesus Christ. The math is, in terms of freewill there should be less than 1/3 humans saved (thus through the narrow gate). However with Satan's effort the number drops to 0. With Jesus in place, the number is back again, so in the end and after a judgment not by Law but by Jesus, less than 1/3 humans will be saved through the same narrow gate. So the Judgment to humans is a switch from the judgment of Law to the judgment of Jesus. If you continue to sin as you wish, then, Matthew 7: 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Perhaps....but by your own words, you imply that you require something, or some act as you call it, in order to feel better....and then require even more of such acts to feel better. Why do you think you need "something else" to make you feel better?
No, that's what you, yourself, believe. I don't need to do something, or not do something, to feel good about myself. I also don't rely on fairy tales to guide me in my life.
Im not sure what religion advertises that interpretation, it means JC died such that your sins 'can' (as in are possible) to be forgiven. Strange anyone would read that as a b lank check.
But it does solve the problem... And if doesn't, well killing him over and over again is the fun part.
Perhaps....but then you wouldn't have any fun..... in fact...without those things you would be miserable.
