If you're sure Perry will win, you put too much faith in polls

    Per CNN:

If you look at this list of 2007-2008 Republican primary polls, the evidence is similar. It's between Giuliani and Thompson. One poll taken right around this time four years ago has Thompson in the lead, and McCain in 4th place at 12%.

And yet the armchair prognosticators refuse to learn from history, and are already predicting that "it's down to Perry and Romney" or even that "Perry's running away with it!"

Like the economists that assume every boom is a "permanently high plateau," they think whatever is happening now is wrought is stone. In fact, nothing is more certain than change.

After listening to Perry in his first debate... He I don't think he will win the primary ... Unless the repugnicans want to lose. He can't shut up about (*)(*)(*)(*) that will sink his election hopes. Plus he has a long laundry list of crap that Romney is just aching to unleash. I Hope Perry wins though and RP runs as an independent . If that happens it will give Ron Paul a chance to win.

Perry won't go anywhere, he's a lit fuse burning down to the inevitable fizzle just like the rest of the con gang.
He's thinskinned, pugnacious, a total lip-shoot'n corporate whore, and there's well over a year for him to try and last. No chance.
On top of that, the Texas fires could become his Katrina.

Faith in the polls? Not so much. Faith in the corporations that run our country getting what they want? Absolutely.
Perry has turned Texas into an even more open economy. By that I mean, workers be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed, kick out the regulations, let corporations do whatever they want kind of economy.
He is a corporations wet dream.
