The US will appeal, but Assange is seeking bail this Wednesday. The decision to deny extradition was over the US inability to ensure Assange's health and that the US could not prevent Assange from committing suicide in prison.

The whole case is disgraceful IMO. Assange published leaked material, which gets done almost daily.

If the US charged Assange, what about all the other instances of publishing leaks throughout the years?

The judge made the right decision, amazingly, but for the wrong reasons.

    Hoping for the best.

That decision is so wrong. The Judge found that the US had established likely success in proving their charges against him, but let him walk because Assange claims he is so piss weak as a human being, he would self harm.

Well, stuff him. That is his problem. Who the hell was ever let off charges anywhere because if they were dealt with like every other bugger is dealt with according to Law, they might hurt themself!

Garbage. I hope the US appeals.

As for Assange now seeking release ~ Stuff him. He is in Jail because he breached bail. There he bloody well stays, even at the risk of topping himself. Bloody hell!

Assange is a hero not a criminal.

    Set him free.

    Pardon Snowden.

    Put Clapper in jail.

    That needs clarification.

My language was far too loose. He is still there in prison indirectly because of that bail breach. The bail breach defined him as a flight risk.

He was granted bail and should be out within the next 48 hours.

Is that so. Fact is...he has NOT been granted bail at all. He will apply for bail tomorrow. He may get it. If the US has, before then, lodged their appeal, bail will not be automatic.

Rubbish is what you've been posting. Pure horse manure, the staple of US Deep State actors ever since this started.

Assange, Manning and Snowden should receive congressional medals for having exposed just a few of the many crimes of the US government and its Global War Of Terror.

    As well as Reality Winner.

One correction. There is no crime by the US Government at all.

OK, we're speaking the same language. Now if you would just take off those rose-colored glasses you wear.

The US government commits more crimes in a year or a day than probably any other government on the planet, with the possible exception of Israel, which controls the US government.

I don't agree with his arrest, so good on them (although their rationale is suspect).
