America was built by white immigrants. White Europeans that became white Americans....legally.

I'm white and I'm not ashamed to say it.

So come on back with some nazi bullshit commentary but it won't change history or facts.

What is it that you progressives have about people simply obeying our immigration laws and coming to our country legally?

Seriously what the hell is wrong with doing it legally? We can't be this Open doormat for everyone in the world to just come here whenever they feel like.

And plenty of illegals work under the table without paying taxes like unlicensed contractors who are taking bread and butter from the mouth of American citizens. But you progressive don't care about things like that

That concept is NOT under dispute. You're missing the point.
Stating a fact of life doesn't give you any indication of whether or not I favor it. So, you are drawing an inference that was never implied.

    The problem is this:

    Republicans are simplistic.

Democrats are nuanced, comprehensive and dynamic.

This why you guys on the right can't govern, because, indeed, life is comprehensive, nuanced, and dynamic.

But some Repubs are an exception, particularly Sen. Lankford, who, with Sinema, came up with a comprehensive, nuanced, and dynamic border bill.

But, for those who have simplistic minds, they can't can comprehend it.

    There solution is:

    "Secure the border".

    That's simplistic.

Simplistic means reduced to such an oversimplified degree that it's crossed the threshold from being workable, to not being workable.

Until you grasp these words, you'll never understand what the hell I'm talking about.

All the hell you are talking about is your obvious bias preventing you from admitting that unfettered illegal immigration is not good for the future of America.

It's good for the Democrat party and their eventual plans on having millions of new unregistered voters suddenly added to the voter rolls legitimately

    What a crock of bullshit.

European Americans exploited BLACKS and murdered and led to the deaths millions of indigenous people blacks who built this country for two and half centuries so you euro guys could have cream in your f*cking coffee (that's a metaphor in case you are metaphor challenged)

Caucasian Americans are only part of the American story.

So, if we avoid tripe, well, AI does it nicely:

The American story is rich with contributions from diverse groups beyond those of Caucasian or European descent. These contributions cover a wide range of cultural, economic, and social aspects, and include the following key components:

    1. Native American Contributions: Before European settlers arrived, Native American tribes had established complex societies with their own systems of governance, trade, and culture across the continent. The knowledge and technologies of Native American peoples, such as agricultural practices (e.g., the cultivation of corn, beans, and squash) and environmental management, have had a lasting impact on American society.
    2. African and African American Contributions: Africans were forcibly brought to America and their labor was exploited through slavery, particularly in the agriculture sector, which was crucial to the economic development of the United States. Post-emancipation, African Americans have been central to American cultural life, significantly influencing music, cuisine, literature, and political thought.
    3. Asian American Contributions: Asian immigrants have played significant roles since the mid-19th century, including the building of the transcontinental railroad, agricultural development, and, more recently, innovations in technology and business. They have also enriched America’s cultural landscape through contributions to art, cuisine, and traditions.
    4. Hispanic and Latino Contributions: Hispanic and Latino communities have influenced American culture and society from before the annexation of territories like Texas and California. They have been pivotal in areas such as agriculture, the arts, and industry and continue to shape the political, economic, and cultural landscapes of the country.
    5. Immigrants from Around the World: Immigrants from the Middle East, Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, and other parts of the world have also made indelible marks on American culture and society. Each group has brought unique traditions, skills, and perspectives that have woven into the fabric of American life.
    6. Innovations and Movements: Various groups have spearheaded important social justice, civil rights, and cultural movements that have helped progress American democratic ideals, such as the Civil Rights Movement, led significantly by African Americans, and labor rights movements, involving diverse groups including Latinos and Asians.
Each of these contributions is integral to the American story, reflecting a history far broader than the activities and achievements of Caucasian Americans alone. This diversity is a fundamental characteristic of what constitutes the United States today.

And everyone of these non caucasian souls is just as proud of their heritage as you are, so whatever your point was, it is meaningless.

    No one supports illegal immigration.

Since it appears your entire premise is built upon that falsehood, the rest of your comment, which flows from that falsehood, is also pig dung.
Thank you for proving my point.

I regret to inform you that illegals cannot vote, and no one, to date, has proven the 'big lie' that illegals are voting anywhere near the ballpark of being able to affect the outcome of any election.

So, whatever your point was, it, as successfully predicted, is pig dung.

    Pure equine excrement !

This administration is already beating the drum for amnesty for millions of illegals and with that amnesty comes the ability to vote.

Anyone who's remotely paying attention knows that this is an open border administration. Living in denial of it doesn't make it go away because the numbers speak for themselves.

Notice all the conflicts around the world and in country?

That's the sort of thing you also see when Democrats have held power in this country..

    You've fallen for the bait.
The problem here is that spending is not linked to taxation. If you have to pay cash you are far more prudent in your spending. Reagan was the worst, instead of "eliminating" the debt as promised he tripled it. Bush Sr. and Clinton brought taxes back in line with spending and actually they began reducing the debt. Bush Jr put an end to that.
We have always had many, millions in fact, annually entering illegally. We also had millions leaving annually prior to the wall. Now heavy illegal drug imports has changed the narrative. It is still relatively easy to sneak in, wait near the top of the wall on the Mexican side until security goes past and down you come. Getting out is far more problematic. Carrying the ladders or tools necessary to scale the wall, get past the authorities with them and then climb the wall before capture is more than a bit of a challenge. The wall keeps them IN not out. It is no surprise that it is easier to bring in your spouse and kids illegally to have them in your life than to try and go back yourself every year as was done before. The other irony is the real problem is the smuggling of drugs and their cartel members and the wall does doodly squat against them.
See above, if you have to pay for it now and don't have the money to spend you spend less. Either congress spends less or taxes more is a much better system for control rather than borrowing money with zero intention of paying it off. Stop this pretending game of cutting taxes to make people better off, doesn't work that way except for the hyper rich.

Certain things like home ownership perhaps but America is fatter than ever and every home has a flat screen TV measured in feet so if the standard of living is down it's because of choice not loss.

There you need to talk to banks and the hyper rich.

A million dollars modestly invested will bring in above $50-100K per year which means it is more than the middle of the road Standard Of Living. You won't be living in a cardboard box with your name on it.

Again, not even remotely the case but in the imaginations of racists. If the immigrants could cross back and forth easily as before then the price of strawberries remains the same as does the permanent illegal population. If legal, short term border crossings were made much easier you greatly reduce the bringing of families across. That should be your goal, avoiding permanent crossings. Worry about the drugs and drug gangs crossing not the guy picking peaches.

Oh horse hockey. that is entirely in your imagination. They will bring some of their cultures just as everyone ever immigrating to the US has but they want to live as Americans or they would have stayed home.

I doubt you can lay all the blame on him. Most belongs to those that began building the wall and thinking it would stop illegal drugs. And of course the hyper rich who convinced Congress, one side of aisle in particular, that borrowing from them is better than taxing them.

I'm not looking for your help, you should help yourself to some more information.

    https://www.shrm.org/topics-tools/n...-plan-legalizes-millions-undocumented-workers

Under Biden's plan, undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. as of Jan. 1, 2021, would have a five-year path to permanent residence if they pass background checks, pay taxes and fulfill other requirements. From there, it's a three-year path to naturalization if they pursue citizenship. The Department of Homeland Security may waive the presence requirement for those deported during the years of the Trump administration if they were physically present for at least three years prior to removal.

Being able to vote after a nine year process is not being able to vote under amnesty. AND they have to pass a test on the history of the US and the Constitution.

Depends what the parameters of America are.
With homeless tent cities, people living rough, unrepaired public infrastructure, the opioid crisis, and over 20 million people without adequate healthcare, and regular spree killings then aspects of America are already features of a ****hole.
There are some aspects of America that are achingly wonderful too, don’t get me wrong.
The weird thing is that nearly every other country is the same mix of wonderful and problems. Something not acknowledged by that perverted creep Donald Trump where he described whole places like Africa and all the countries therein as ****holes.

People who entered this country illegally to begin with have no business ever voting.

Yes, the Democrats under Biden’s “leadership” the Democrats could take this country down tubes very fast. As they destroy the middle class, which pulls the wagon in this country, the Democrats move toward the “manure hole” model of the very rich and poor with no one in the middle.

Why are the Democrats doing this? Their leadership is obsessed with controlling human beings and making themselves very rich and powerful in the process. Look at the Obama, Clinton, Pelosi and Biden family who have made themselves very wealthy using their “public service” positions. They can’t be happy with “comfortable; they need to be mega wealthy even if they can’t consume it.

The above comes across as you thinking if the US didn't fund Israel's war on Gaza, that Hamas would be attacking American cities. Is that what you believe?

So those are your complaints. But I didn't ask for those. I didn't ask what you didn't like about his policies, I want to know what Biden WILL DO in four years to have us spiral down to the status of 'shithole country'. Not being able to afford home ownership doesn't qualify. People protesting doesn't either. How, in four years, will we - as a country - spiral down into poverty and hunger?

How disingenuous. No, no one believes Hamas is capable of more than local terrorism. But there are many capable adversaries in the region, Iran chief among them.

...Says the Democrat while being preposterously "simplistic".

The irony in your statement is palpable.

If history is our guide, I cannot wait for your ridiculously long response that will be aimed at obfuscating this undeniable, straightforward, and brief point.

This country has already become a cesspool, governed by an illegitimate government that routinely and often violates its founding document. The carcass of the US of A is already beginning to rot.
