Personally I think it should be legal to get a backalley Brazilian butt lift with a coathanger. Keep the government's hands off our bodies, they have no interest interfering with my personal bodily decisions.

 

Where does it say it should not happen? What it says it this is an industry with more than a few dodgy idiots who should be more strictly monitored

 

I don't want the government monitoring my private healthcare decisions in any way. My body my private choice.

 

Then do not go to any public hospital anywhere here in Aus. Every public hospital has an internal reporting system/s so that feedback mechanisms can ensure quality of care. Do you really want another Dr Patel?

As long as they are consenting adults it's their body and their choice right?

 

Similar things are going on in Brazil. Just shows that the U.S. is becoming more like a Third World Latin American country.

1) I'm happy that curvy women are in style now (my friends that like stick women always looked at my like i was crazy)
2) Now that this is popular, ladies are less impressed of me liking their body type because now its NORMAL (thanks for messing up my game society!)
3) LADIES, if you are listening, think hard before messing up your body. An implant butt never looks as good as a natural one. Also, there is a guy out there, or girl, or trans, or non binary out there that like different body types. Many men like stick women, many men like them huge. Hell, I even used to work with a guy that no jokes looks almost just like Michael B. Jordan and he likes HAIRY women (legs, armpits, EVERYTHING). There are even big belly lovers out there. Don't change unless you really need to, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've always crushed on Barbara Streisand but most people I know don't think she's attractive. See! Even large noses are attractive to some! I've also had my share of implant (@)(@)s and they are just not the same. they dont' feel the same. The nipple isn't in the right location. and there's usually a big scar underneath. WHY?
4) I guess history repeats itself huh? Remember all the people that had anorexia due to stick women models, Now we got these crazy butt surgeries!
5) once everyone has a bubble butt, they will not be popular anymore. (also its pretty easy to tell the difference)

 

This is less bout body shape or shaming than it is about a dangerously lethal practice that is inadequately overnighted

 

Bowerbird, you are aware it's Hispanic women who are doing this? You're in Australia so maybe you wouldn't know.
Big rear ends are considered erotic and sexually attractive in their culture. Very likely has to do with racial genetics of sexual attraction.
Few white men are into huge butts.

I think this started from rich women getting the fat sucked from their stomachs, then all their extra calories went to their butts, now this is attractive to some as a type of fad as they see rich models this way

 

Interesting theory but I think that is unlikely.

Black men (the ones who are darker black) and Hispanic men (mostly not the very light skinned ones) are the one who find big butts and voluptuous curves to be erotic.
To be fair, there are a small number of white men but they are in the small minority, and it is unusual.
If you look at African women and women in Latin American countries, they do statistically have bigger hips. It is probably due to sexual selection over time, since the men preferred women with these body features. A lot of overweight white women end up with a black man because they can appreciate her "curves" and big rear end (which is an issue for another thread).

Want to make a bet? If these clinics were “back alley” then they could be prosecuted however they are operating under a Vermeer of authority - it is just that the “authority” has more loopholes than a crocheted rug

No, of course not. Don't be ridiculous. The white women just end up with black men.
For the other women, they know that's what their men like.
The clear analogy would be like breast implants. Only a lot of these women don't have a total lot going for them financially so it's all about sexual attractiveness.

It's important to point out who this is actually affecting. It's entirely around the Miami area, which has a large Caribbean-Hispanic community, not a concern in northern Florida.
