This story is all over websites like Reddit, Digg and PopUrls today—and for good reason. A journalist decided to investigate guests featured on a recent Sean Hannity segment about the Affordable Care Act. In the segment, each guest explained how the law has hurt their family in different ways. But, as it turns out, these were hand-picked partisans who either hadn’t looked at the exchanges, or were flat-out lying. It’s almost a cliché at this point, but Fox News is not accurate. I know plenty of people on this forum watch the channel and trust their reporting, but keep this in mind next time you flip to FNC.
Anecdotal evidence v. anecdotal evidence. Personally, i'd take an actual journalist over Sean Hannity any day. Occam's Razor, my friend.
Whenever I hear... These are the stories that the media refuses to cover, my brain shuts down to prevent loss of IQ points....
I have no idea how credible this person is. I do, however know that Sean Hannity seems literally incapable of speaking truth when it comes to Obamacare. To sum up Sean Hannity's credibility, he literally claims the U.S. was in better shape after George W. Bush than before him. One must wonder what color Sean thinks the sky is. Blue? I wouldn't count on it. Well, he might, but if Obama said it was blue, his mind would change on that pretty quickly.
when the facts are so difficult to determine the errors will enter into the fray not a problem the country will collapse Obama care just speeds up the process the next government will be one that will last love you
If you mean the crap spun by Hannity. . .I agree! If you mean the checking the author of that article did. . .show us where he lied!
How can you call this guy a journalist? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_A._Stern He's part of the Democratic Political Machine, a lawyer and works with a Democrat who looks to be running for President in 2016. Not much credibility there.
So they should be allowed to distort the truth? Plenty of people don't really get the difference between these "entertainment" programs and actual news.
Do you feel the same about Rachel Maddow and Chris Mathews and MSNBC? If people dont get the difference, I guess you are stuck with being forced to realize you cant fix stupid. Like the way I feel knowing people actually voted for Obama TWICE!
Do you have any proof that Hannity told these people to lie about Obama Care? Would it make more sense that these people came to Hannity and told him what he put on the air? I see nothing in your post that shows this journalist proved that Hannity told them to lie, or that he came to them and told them what to say.
It seems like a very simple fact-checking effort would have revealed the fraud. Hannity real doesn't have the best track-record for these things,
