What is US position on Israel having nukes? oppose or favor? it's a very simple question that needs no debate, only an answer and I am more interested to know why "our leaders" have not made this answer clear yet, so if you could vote your opinion and possibly explain why our leaders have not made their position clear, that would be appreciated as well. thx.
What I don't understand is why the United States doesn't just say that Israel has a nuclear arsenal and it has at least x number of bombs (the absolute minimum number of x is estimated to be 120, by the way). Let Israel threaten the would-be nuclear powers in the Middle East: all America needs to do is say that we'll supply Israel with any delivery systems they want and if a nuclear exchange occurred and by some miracle the aggressor wasn't destroyed we'd finish the job. MADD should work just as well for Israel and Iran as it did for the United Sates of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

An easy answer... cause they own you! They own the political system! They own the media! They control the banks! They control the money supply! They control the Senators! We are in favor and we have not said so becuase there is no benefit to saying so. A countrys diplomacy often means that some things are better off not said in case the situation changes.
It might have something to do with the fact of if Israel admits to having a nuclear arsenal, it will have to abide by U.N. regulations, inspections and it MUST sign the NPT (Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty). When these things are accomplished, Israel can no longer threaten to arbitrarily bomb whatever nation it pleases.
