Is everything on this site moderated before it's posted?

    I don't know if it's because I just registered, but so far I've tried to post one topic (in Introductions) and one reply to a conversation, and both times I got a message telling me that my stuff would be posted once a moderator approved it.

    What's that all about? I find it hard to believe that every post on this site has to go through an approval process. Or is this just for new members?

    You can make some short posts and you will be out of moderation before you know it.
