Is forcing an infant to suckle from a milkless man-chest child abuse?

I see this as child abuse. It seems weird to force a baby to put their mouth on a body part that isn't producing any milk. I also see it as cruelty and starvation. like waving a steak in front of a starving person.

There are reasons why there are acceptable social norms. When people are encouraged to do whatever they please, everything breaks down into a free for all, be it in government, business, or individually.

True it's none of my business and those people are absolutely free to pretend the baby is being fed. But I am also free to have the opinion that they are beyond bizarre.

It's weird as hell and DEFINITELY deserves investigation, but it isn't "starvation" unless they aren't also bottle feeding. If it were, then we'd have to lock up every parent who gives their kid a pacifier. And it probably isn't abuse unless there is other stuff going on . . . which, again, should probably be investigated.

 

Do you somehow think they aren't feeding the child at all? Also, all newborns have the reflex to suck. As bizarre as it is for this man to have the baby suckle his nipple, it's not cruel or abuse. Unless you have proof they aren't feeding the baby at all then I think you're overreacting a bit on the starvation and abuse claims.
