Is PF overrun with Racists?

Actually, he did not win by that large of a margin. I believe that 85% if not higher who voted for him did so because he was a Democrat, plain and simple. These are the people who would have voted for the Democrat, no matter who he was.

The same goes for the contender that year, Senator McCain. Most of those who voted for him did so with no consideration of race, they were Conservatives or Republicans, and that is how they always voted.

 

Dunno about racists in particular, but this board seems to have more than its share of idiots.

 

Now I have heard of that site, but am not the kind of person to want to hang out there. But out of curiosity, I went and did a search for "politicalforum.Com", and came up with 2 pages of references to this site.

Wow, all I can say is "Wow".

Do you honestly think a man with almost no experience, one who has associated with shady characters, and a man secretive of his personal history would actually be even nominated if he was white? There is no way Obama could have passed an FBI Top Secret Clearance investigation as a civilian.

We are overrun with people who want to stir the pot and call people racist just to get a rise out of them and then people who don't realize that everyone is a racist in one form or another. Then we have the Al Sharptons who believe everyone who isn't his color has to be a racist with evil in their hearts. This country is too (*)(*)(*)(*) PC.

 

Not for being opposed to those belief systems. Most people disagree with some belief system or another.

Now if you were opposed to all Jews or all Muslims- just because they believed in that belief system- yes I would say you were.

At its core- racism or bigotry is about judging all people because of the color of their skin, where they are from, or what god they worship- rather than judging the person for his or her actions.

 

Well its not hard to tell when they spill over here. Quite a few copy and paste directly from Stormfront- if you Google certain threads you can find the exact words popping up on Stormfront. Others try to play nice but then slip up and use some particularly offensive racial remark- that I honestly believe that they are so desensitized to that they are surprised when someone calls them on it- and then usually do a dance around why that comment wasn't racist.

The mantra pretty much is summed up like this:

"I am not a racist- but all blacks are racists. I am not a racist, I just want to discuss my opinion that I think that all blacks are stupid. I am not a racist, I just think all jews are child eating war mongering devil worshippers and want to inform people. I am not a racist, I just think that all Mexicans are bean eating job stealing murdering brown stains on humanity. I am not a racist, I just think Whites are superior and should be able to live in harmony with our own kind without Blacks, Browns, or Yellows in the country God gave to the White folk"

Those are basically the arguments we get here.

 

No this is utter nonsense.

First off "bigotry" means sticking to a view in the face of contrary evidence.
Secondly "racism" can only apply to race, not a belief system.
If you oppose a belief system, you necessarily oppose people who hold to and practice that belief system, in some sense.

Seriously, do you people actually believe this stuff? Everything is "racist bigotry" to you people, even disagreeing with someone.

 

Actually what I posted is what most non-racist, non- bigots believe.

You asked me whether I would consider you a racist if you oppose Islam and Judaism- I said no.
I would consider you a racist if you considered all Jews and all Muslims bad, based solely upon their faith or their race or place of origin.

I really don't care what you think the definition of racism is. Racism has a stink of its own that is easily identified.

The religious choice of a person is not open to the criticism of others. That is not your choice to make, and not your right to complain about the religion of others.

And you are not as sly as you think you are. This is another type of racism I have seen all to often. Ask open ended questions, and then post biased information to try and lead people to believe as you do. Do not openly attack yourself, but make it obvious how we should believe. This is the "Intellectual Racist".
