    Can you post some specific examples that we can analyse?

    According to the articles I posted Russia says Ukraine was becoming a threatening country. They thought it was going to become a de facto NATO country if not a fully fledged NATO country. How are you in a position to know what the truth is? Have you spoken to people from that part of the world?

    Just because that info has appeared in some media source somewhere doesn't mean it's true. It may turn out to be true but it has to be verified.

    It's blocked in a few places.

    "Was becoming a threatening country"....a flimsy excuse for an in vision at best.....

    So I guess Moldova,Finland,Belarus,Sweden are all candidates for SMO because they're becoming "threatening countries"......Wow....priceless....:roflol:

    If it turns out that NATO's putting nuclear missiles in Ukraine was really being planned, the Russians had a good reason to be scared. That's a good reason for a country to do something drastic. The US didn't tolerate there being nuclear missiles in Cuba.

    Are you an armchair analyst? There are probably a lot of factors that only an insider would know.

    Another armchair analyst – you're being pretty simplistic, If your enemy installs a puppet government in a country along your border and it looks like they're getting ready for an eventual invasion, should you just wait for them to invade? That's the reason Russia gives*. That may or may not be true but if it turns out to be true, Russia had a just reason to invade. Do you remember the actions taken by the US during the Cuban missile crisis**?

    When any NATO country goes to war, there is a national collective amnesia and like all good sheep nobody ever doubts the reasons for invading the other country. It was 100 % backing of Iraq and look how that turned out in history.
