Yes. Exactly. Meaning that in my opinion, you have no empathy for those people because you have never been desperate enough to grasp at any straw to survive, to protect yourself and your family from something dire.

No my comments about ILLEGAL immigrants are consistently negative because ILLEGAL immigration is a serious problem. I'm a strong supporter of immigration. My mother was a legal immigrant that earned citizenship the right way.
