Legally, he's probably qualified. I don't think the courts will uphold the idea that the 14th Amendment can be applied like that without any actual related convictions.

while others want to emphasis what actually happened to others while simultaneously basing their view on the event from a prism of what could have happened but didn’t.

you want to tell me it’s a coup, insurrection, rebellion? That never happens with only messed up offices. Bodies happen. Usually a lot of them.

but no worries, you have your imagination to fill in all the blanks from where those bodies should be but aren’t! Good ol imagination!

Threats don’t make rebellions. Rebellions make rebellions

Over 1000 went crying to jail over your so called nothing happened. At this point in time, all MAGAs can keep digging, it will be that much more refreshing when Trump and his minions get exposed.

I don't see our judges as so chicken hearted and owned by Trump that they would refuse to serve.

    Trump is facing judges today.

Also, the legal experts mentioned in the article consider that the state Secretary of State (or whomever runs the state election) could face legal action at the state level, as that's where the decision is made.
True. But, it might be considered that innocence in one or all of these particular cases may not be the same as being qualified to be president under the constitution.

He isn't being tried for giving aid and benefit, yet that is directly stated in the 14th amendment as being disqualifying.

The constitution doesn't say anything about the standard being that he was found guilty in a court of law.

It was a direct assault on our democracy. People died.

There was a declared attempt to assassinate the VP.

And, this is NOT just about Jan 6.

    trespass and vandalism happened.

if it’s a rebellion then they should be tried for treason.

Tell me: how many were tried for treason?

You mean a single solitary woman died, shot by the police you libs hate so much.

but please, whatever you do, don’t be honest about basic facts.

And like I said: there are threats every day. What makes that one special?

The thing is, even if he is qualified, he can only do 4 years.
Unfortunately he fell victim to the 2-tier system. It is what it is.

Well, that's what the left want. Isn't it?

Can't win an election by vote, try to get the competition disqualified.

Thats what all this has ALWAYS been about.

What do you think the point of the House certifying the election is?

    Why even do that?
