I agree with that as well. I wish that would be an option. I understand that you may need to compel many to save for their retirement, but for those capable of doing it on their own, they would fare far better.
You could compel it at the same rate as SS payroll deductions, but have it be owned by the taxpayers and the returns would be WELL north of the "return" you get "investing" in SS.
Jefferson presented this in another posting here titled "The Communist Takeover of America happening in real time" I will give you this link again so that maybe you'll read it and figure out just how everything going on in this current leftist administration is indeed as close to communism as it gets. It certainly doesn't come close to representing the values of the American people. Read it and then tell me if you're still confused, or still uncertain, or still unable to admit that the current dems are engaged in un-anti American policy, which is as close to having a communist run government as it gets. Can you point out even one action, policy or belief coming from this current administration that lives up to our constitution, is pro American or has anything comparable to our founders value system? You could start by telling us just how all American biden's failure at the southern border represents anything but a dereliction in duty as potus, and further exposure as someone working for our enemies, and not for the American people. https://www.wnd.com/2021/05/communist-takeover-america-happening-real-time/
I live in the city (Chicago) and talk to people in my neighborhood, they all complains that teacher emphasize events of the past, pointing finger to whites.
I'm in Chicago also. If I understand you correctly, there is some kind of agenda against white people by teachers talking about the role that non-white people played in historical development of this country. Is that the problem? If so, why.
Problem: Sure there are a few tokens in wars and George Washington Carver too. But mostly "hype" whether considering qualitatively or quantitatively. White Christians and their Jews made our And the CSA too! That ole time classic history it was good enough for me Moi
No problem. We can go back and see how Jim Crow impacted his grandfather, then his father by impacting the grandfather, and finally him by impacting his father. What's your point?
My condolences. I'd feel badly for you, but the goat died and Chicago is a nice place, especially this time of year without all the tourists in NYC, DC...
Why are you giving me condolences? What'd I miss? Chicago is very beautiful and has some of the best food in the country.
A lot of people have bad attitudes, that's not a race issue. That said, it IS about getting clicks for ad money. There was a time when we paid for news, that's long gone. So media groups have to run "Enquirer-type" headlines as click bait to get paid. We now get opinion pieces instead of actual news, and the Sharpton's of the world provide comic relief.
Proven out by many polls. You just don't like reality. Lots of blacks, Asians, etc. are racist, too. We have a multiracial society and may as well embrace what we've become instead of fighting it. A lot of Americans of all colors are racist. You'd have to visit other countries where people have issues other than race (for a variety of reasons) to find fewer racists. Of course, there are plenty of countries where people are more racist.
My attempt at humor. "The goat died" (the Cubs won the WS) and Chicago has nice weather this time of year. NYC and DC do, too, but are overrun by tourists. Too much good food? A pal from Chicago I met in Vancouver (in Canada, not WA) is a diehard Cubs fan who damn near had apoplexy when Steve Bartman stole the ball from Moisés Alou. Bill was absolutely certain the Cubs would have gone on to win the World Series. His best buddy, also a friend of mine, used to make real believable goat sounds whenever the Cubs came up. Cracked me up. We all played on the same fast pitch softball team. One caveat about liking Chicago... I definitely prefer Napa, CA in January.
Ah, I got it now. I was so confused. I'm sure you've learned not to come between and man and his baseball team in Chicago. LOL I was born and raised in Chicago. We had to live in the city because my dad was a Chicago cop. I went to college in the city but moved to the suburbs after I got married. Now, I'm divorced and about 2 hours outside of Chicago. I've tried calling my favorite places and bribing them to FedEx me some yummy food (it didn't work . I feel like a pig whenever I go back because I'll order from about 5-6 places to bring food back home. Our infamous weather: Years ago, a guy from Hawaii had transferred to Chicago. He was in the hanger with the other mechanics in a thin wind breaker type thing on and was freezing to death (it was about -25 that night). The next night he showed up in a warmer parker. Some of the guys asked him about it and he said that he stopped the first guy he saw wearing what looked like a warm coat and gave him $400 for it! He could have found something a bit less than that but he was determined. He didn't last out the week. He would have walked back to Hawaii if he had to! Our weather is NOT for the thin bloods. Two years ago, it was so cold her, all our cell phones had a warning sign:
Victim Disadvantage (VD) is what is being sold to our young. "If you believe, you can achieve" has been replaced with "The deck is stacked against you so don't bother trying"
Teacher promote that crap to school children who do not understand why the hell this is taught to them. Parents fight it all the time.
The goat has to have been the best superstition in all baseball, maybe all sports. The Red Sox being punished by the gods for selling Babe Ruth was good, but the goat thing was hilarious. My first time in Chicago was as a 10-year-old kid on an airplane stopping over on the way to see relatives in DC for Christmas. My dad told me to take a heavy coat "in case." Geez, they left the airplane doors open and I damn near froze to death. My father thought the story was funnier than s---.
