He was involved in a stabbing last night involving someone he knew and then a lengthy police search/pursuit. He may have kidnapped a woman from the residence who was later able to get free on a busy bridge.

There is footage of him doing burnouts at one of the busiest intersections in Melbourne. After that he took off with police in pursuit.

Apparently his name is Jimmy (Dimitry) Gargasoulas: 26 yrs old ice addict out of prison 6 months: stabbed brother Angelo Gargasoulis 25yr old 2am this morning, beat his stepfather, stole the car.

A reporter reports this and is told to take the details of this comment down.
All the Police have to do is interview the witness.
If his story is credible then believe him. If not, then its not a terrorist attack.

BTW again. I can understand that the reporter may be bound by the Australian legal
interpretation of sub judice, but that doesnt seem to be the case in numerous other incidents,
like the knife attack in Minto, where everyone in Australia knew about the attack. Why werent
the press gagged in all these other incidents. Wouldnt sub judice apply to them also.
Sub judice applies when an arrest is made...it doesnt have to be before the court.

Police have to say that this is not terror related as they have told the
public he was on the radar for other reasons.
If they admit it was a terrorist attack, then the media would tear them to
pieces and ask why wasnt he arrested previously. The families of the deceased
and injured would then be able to sue the Police Department for a breach of a duty
of care for not arresting the pos. It would cost the Police, or should I say the government
millions of dollars.
Simple way out...say it was not terror related......
