    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Machmaddim means desirable.

The word appears in the verse in a context which can have nothing to do with Muhammad. The beloved within the book lived at the time of Solomon (Song 3:7; Song 3:11; Song 8:12), he married a shulamite (ie an inhabitant of Shunem) (Song 6:13) and he can be found in Jerusalem (Song 2:7; Song 3:5; Song 5:.

None of these fits Muhammad at all. None of Muhammad's wives came from Shunem, he did not visit Jerusalem (apart from in the Miraj story), and he lived long after the time of Solomon.

    The Shulamite Love Story

    http://biblenews1.com/docs/shulamit.htm

In Phallic Reversionism, he destroyed all hope of ever finding his Right Woman. Contentment in the love of a woman eluded him. He forever sought the ultimate love relationship of his Right Woman, but he never found her.

Perhaps the closest that he ever came to Right Woman was the Shulamite Woman, who is the heroine of Song of Solomon. Song of Solomon appears to be a musical based upon the historical fact of Solomon's harem.

Like an historical novel, the musical is based on historical reality, but the plot contains fiction. Thus, the Shulamite woman may have indeed existed; but she obviously didn't sing her lines as they are written in the Song of Solomon.

    haram... So ignorant.

If Allah SWT was a pagan moon god, then why were the Pagans tring to kill the Muslims for because the Muslims didn't follow the Pagan gods? Lol...

If Muhammad SAW was a false Prophet, then all the Prophets must have been false.

Most modern day Jews consider the Talmud more important than the Torah, so...

If this was baseball, you'd be out by now.

Response: The word is mahamadim. It is what is clearly stated in the link with hebrew transliteration. You claim that it is "Machmaddim" with no proof fom any source, thus proving nothing. Furthermore, the suffix "im" is a plural of respect, which ill-befits the word desirable, because the word is an adjective. Adjectives do not contain a plural of respect. Thus the evidence confirms that Muhammad's name is mentioned in the bible.

Read it in context.. not just one word which you apparently don't understand.

Its a LOVE SONG to a woman.. she was a vineyards keeper and not of high status... and she was black as the tents of Kedar.

'im' is not "plural of respect."

The song of songs, which is Solomon's.

    The Shulamite

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth-- For your love is better than wine. Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you.

Draw me away! The Daughters of Jerusalem We will run after you. I am dark, but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, Like the tents of Kedar, Like the curtains of Solomon. Do not look upon me, because I am dark, Because the sun has tanned me. My mother's sons were angry with me; They made me the keeper of the vineyards, But my own vineyard I have not kept.

    (To Her Beloved)

Tell me, O you whom I love, Where you feed your flock, Where you make it rest at noon. For why should I be as one who veils herself By the flocks of your companions? The Beloved If you do not know, O fairest among women, Follow in the footsteps of the flock, And feed your little goats Beside the shepherds' tents.

I have compared you, my love, To my filly among Pharaoh's chariots. Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments, Your neck with chains of gold. The Daughters of Jerusalem We will make you ornaments of gold With studs of silver.

The Shulamite While the king is at his table, My spikenard sends forth its fragrance. A bundle of myrrh is my beloved to me, That lies all night between my breasts.

My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blooms In the vineyards of En Gedi. The Beloved Behold, you are fair, my love! Behold, you are fair! You have dove's eyes. The Shulamite Behold, you are handsome, my beloved! Yes, pleasant! Also our bed is green. The beams of our houses are cedar, And our rafters of fir.

Response: To the contrary, the evidence shows that my understanding of the word is correct, supported by hebrew transliteration. While everything you state of the word, is supported by .......nothing.

As for the context, the entire verse is not a love song to a woman. Verses 10-16 have nothing to do with a love song to a woman. It states that the person is their friend who's features resemble lebanon and he is a chief of ten thousand. This person is none other than Muhammad.

Guys, Fatihah is in all probability just a trolling sockpuppet... His arguments mirror those of Quantrill on the Christian side...

Response: Verse 10-16 of chaper 5 of the Song of Solomon mentions nothing of jewelry hanging from anyone's face. It states that the beloved person is a friend, not a lover, and states that he is the chief of 10,000 and that his features is like lebanon. This person is none other than Muhammad.

Doesn't change the fact that you are one... and a very bad one at that.

I am a big supporter of Muslims and have a pretty good grasp of Islam, but I am embarrassed by this claim that Muhammed is the woman in the Song of Soloman.

Its a pathetic reach.. Much like the claim that Shiloh is Muhammed..

Response: The question is whether Muhammad's name is mentioned, which the evidence clearly presented demonstrates. Thus Muhammad's name is proven to be mentioned in the Bible. Questions about whether something is a love song between two men is irrelevant and a weak strawman.

The link was to show you what a 'majestic plural' is..

This is not the case with 'Machmaddim'.

Well thank you.. I'm flattered.. but this business about Muhammed being the Shualamite woman in the Song of Soloman is on par with that Hagee screw up.

Religion shouldn't make people nuts (or hateful).. It should be a comfort to them.. a help to them.
