Not sure but the majority of Jews in Israel speak Hebrew and the majority of Jews live in Israel so the majority of Jews speak Hebrew, and it is used as the language of prayer and study in temples throughout the world.

They spoke Yiddish as well as Hebrew and Yiddish is a derivative of Hebrew anyways and is written in the Hebrew alphabet.
