Quran allows for deception in the name of Allah. So, Muslims will think nothing of swearing an allegiance to Israel, just so that they can break it at the appropriate moment.

    Israel?

Once the Middle Eastern state most admired by the West. Fighting against long odds just to survive. I admired them as well.

Now? It's a pariah...causing almost nothing but trouble.

Of all Middle Eastern countries - I despise the Saudi Royal Family the most. But Israel (or at least, the government of Israel) is right up there.

It doesn't matter what number of refugees either of us thinks is fair
As long as Israel receives $ Trillions in illegal aid, (as per the Symington amendment) it's government has no incentive to work to a just, durable & equitable Peace.
Israel's settlement policy proves that its government doesn't want and has never wanted a peaceful resolution(1) no matter how many Palestinians are or are not allowed to return to their homes.

    "Israel Does Not Want Peace"

    http://www.haaretz.com/peace/1.601112

EXCERPT "Rejectionism is embedded in Israel's most primal beliefs. There, at the deepest level, lies the concept that this land is destined for the Jews alone

Israel does not want peace. There is nothing I have ever written that I would be happier to be proved wrong about. But the evidence is piling up. In fact, it can be said that Israel has never wanted peace – a just peace, that is, one based on a just compromise for both sides.

The single most overwhelming item of evidence of Israel’s rejection of peace is, of course, the settlements project. From the dawn of its existence, there has never been a more reliable or more precise litmus test for Israel’s true intentions than this particular enterprise. In plain words: The builders of settlements want to consolidate the occupation, and those who want to consolidate the occupation do not want peace. That’s the whole story in a nutshell."CONTINUED

If the Palestinians accepted the Taba Accords and pushed Israel to accept, there would have been 100,000 less settlers in the West Bank and NO wall.

every day the Palestinians stall, they lose more land and more settlers are born or moved into the West Bank.

But the Palestinians seem not to care.

oh well, I guess they prefer to live under the boot of Israel Occupation then to be an independent people.

    Re:
What incentive does Israel have to accept any legal action when they're rewarded with $ Trillions for maintaining an illegal Occupation no matter what?

    Re:
In other words "Take these crumbs from the table & we MIGHT steal a little less land for now"

You act as if the influx of militant land thieves pushed by the Israeli government, funded by the US Government is some sort of natural phenomenon like erosion.

What part of "Israel does not want Peace" via rejectionism did you not understand?

95% of the West Bank, control of the Arab areas of East Jerusalem, control of all of Gaza, tens of billions in international aid to build up the state, is mere crumbs to you?

wow, really sounds like the Palestinians prefer occupation to independence.

such a shame, as while the Palestinians wallow in misery, the rest of the Arab world prospers and grows.

    look at the UAE:

    Look at Bahrain

    You said:

You didn't mention that Taba (aka Oslo 2) failed because the Israelis terminated Taba and refused to restart it, additionally, Israel imposed preconditions that they knew the Palestinians could not accept(1)

As far as the copious foreign aid Palestinians might receive under Taba , most of whatever aid Palestinians do receive from the international community is "diverted" to the Israelis(2) so it is unlikely that the Israelis would allow a prosperous Palestinian State under any conditions.
Why should it when it can steal land & abuse san Occupied people with not only impunity but reward?
Apparently, you don't know the strident mentality of Israel's current Right Wing extremist government(3) that is alienating Jews worldwide.

Meanwhile, your operative phrase is "...and pushed Israel to accept".
You have repeatedly avoided answering why Israel should accept ANYTHING it may not like when it is guaranteed $ Trillions in aid for continuing to violate international law.

Face it, the Israeli government & nearly half of its population want all non Jews out and will apparently stop at nothing to achieve that objective.

I strongly suggest you read "Israel Does Not Want Peace" rather than wasting time grabbing at diversionary straws.

The number of Jewish settlers living illegally on occupied Palestinian land has grown by more than 120,000, something Netanyahu was recently caught on tape boasting about. offer the Israelis a deal that includes:

Palestinians get 95% of the West Bank, with 5% in land swaps.

shared control of the Old City.

Arabs get the Arab areas of East Jerusalem.

    Palestine gets no heavy weaponry.

Israel takes back 150,000 refugees under the guise of family reunification.

Israel gets an early warning station on the Jordan/Palestine border.

offer than and Israel will have no choice but to accept.

....or Palestine can continue to wallow in misery and failure as the rest of the Arab world prospers.

    its your choice.

    Re:
History has proven that Israel can "chose" to attack an American ship and massacre 34 US servicemen with near impunity.
Israel lives by different standards than the rest of the world and has demonstrated that US aid will continue to flow even though aid to Israel is illegal under US Law (the Symington Amendment).

Don't you see that by now?
That's why it is a global pariah.
I feel 99.9% certain that the current Israeli government would refuse even that just as I have supported the fact that the current Israeli government doesn't want peace under any conditions.

    thats wonderful.

meanwhile the Palestinians clearly care more about their so-called "honor" than having a functional and prosperous state.

and the rest of the Arab world continues to do well.

    really?

you think Israel would even refuse a peace deal that gives them all of Greater Jerusalem and 50% of the West Bank?

wow, sounds like your views on this matter aren't very logical.

The Irish accepted losing Northern Ireland.

sometimes you need to take what you can get, rather than gettign nothing.

but it looks likes the Palestinians prefer nothing rather than 95%

    very, very sad.

I'm far from alone in my views

"Why Israel Doesn't Care About Peace"
Israelis feel prosperous, secure — and disengaged from the peace process with the Palestinians. Is that wise?

Israel would face enormous international pressure to accept a deal offered like the one I mentioned.

they may not have the choice to say "no".

but the Palestinians have yet to actually offer a peace plan thats viable.

What significant consequences would Israel face if it said "no" (again) to a viable peace plan?
The US Government is so Zionist dominated that there would be no repercussions from here.

At this point I simply feel like I'm repeating & re-posting facts I've already posted.

    Enjoy your weekend

sounds like a typical anti-Jewish conspiracy theory.

i presume we will be having this same discussion in 20 years, assuming that the Palestinians keep choosing "honor" over a bright future.

Sure. Arabs in the Middle East - including Palestine - during centuries of Ottoman rule.

Well, Israel gave all of Sinai to Egypt for peace. That area is much larger than the rest of Israel.
Israel run to make peace with Jordan. Whom did the 'Palestinians' make peace with ?
They cannot even make peace with themselves, they are split into two countries the west bank ruled by the 'authority' and Gaza ruled by Hamas.
Both parties murder each other over nothing...

Israel will never let east Jerusalem fall again. Jerusalem has never been a capital city of Arabs and there has always been Jews in that city for thousands of years. The Arabs migrated to that city from the deserts of Arabia. Interestingly when the Muslims conquered the city, they went to Jews and asked them where the temple had been, and that's right where they built their mosque. Until that time the Arab Muslims never gave Jerusalem a thought.

Israel will give up nothing that puts it's existence at risk, nor should they.
Most of my kin live on Cree reservations and Metis settlements. Are you willing to give up the USA and let your first nations have their traditional lands back? Of course not, because reality is that our history is one of migrating back and forth, to and fro. Israel just happens to be in a position to reclaim what was lost thousands of years ago. Palestinian history isn't buried as deep in Jerusalem as they want us to believe.

The Ottomans were not brutal as the Israeli Occupation with their repeated decimations of Gaza etc.

I think they are getting more than their fair share of charity. I can never understand why those claiming to care about these people support what can only hinder progress towards better lives. My feeling is that their hatred for Jews/Israel is much stronger than their concern for Palestinians.

How about Jordanians toward Palestinian and during occupation of Judea and Samaria?

While at it, why's that Arabs were not vocal about creating Palestinian state while Judea and Samaria were occupied by Hashemite Jordanian Kingdom? Any idea?

But you don't know that 72% aid to Palestinians is stolen by the Israelis:

"72% OF AID TO PALESTINIANS ENDS UP IN ISRAELI HAANDS"
    http://www.mintpressnews.com/72-percent-foreign-aid-actually-ends-back-israeli-hands/214704/
EXCERPT "RAMALLAH — Aid money to Palestine ends up benefiting the Israeli economy, and may even help perpetuate the occupation, according to an analysis published last year.

Published by Aid Watch Palestine, a Palestinian NGO that scrutinizes the spending of foreign relief money, the September 2015 study by Shir Hever suggests that at least 72 percent of foreign aid actually ends up back in Israeli hands.

Palestine’s economy is dependent on foreign aid, although foreign nations sometimes pledge more than they actually give. The World Bank reported that of $3.5 billion pledged to Palestine in 2015, “only 35 percent has been disbursed, $881 million less than what was supposed to be disbursed so far” by September.

Rather than offering long-term relief, the report revealed that most aid is either “diverted,” meaning it never reaches its destination because of “taxes, transportation fees, etc,” or it’s “subverted,” meaning that, even though it ends up in the hands of the Palestinian Authority, it’s spent in such a way that ultimately benefits Israel, including purchases of Israeli goods to fund repair efforts and to rebuild infrastructure."CONTINUED
