The European Union has taken Hamas off their terrorist list!!

Netanyahoo is furious, calls it a "staggering example of European hypocrisy and an indication that many on the continent have learned nothing from the Holocaust."
I think people get tired and want to move on. So much stuff happening in Europe right now.


Also, on the same day a United Nations person in Europe delivered a stinging rebuke to Israel’s settlement construction in the West Bank and called for Israel to be investigated for war crimes.

Netanyahoo's response: "...Israel is the forward position of European civilization. Israel is the bulwark of European values”

Well, the Jews chose to move into Palestine, that's where they wanted to be! It is not Europe's fault they have a hard time down there. God knows, they received and still receive today plenty of goods and help.
Anyway, I find it sheer amazing that someone dares to talk tough with Israel. In my humble opinion this kind of talk has been long overdue.

Hamas is a terrorist group and Europe is easily fooled.

They did get one thing right. Israel should not be settling the West Bank.

Hamas a terrorist group? Hmm... all they did is throw stovepipes over at Israel. They are an oppressed people and have a right to defend themselves, just like Israel keeps tooting they have a right to defend themselves. I think it is time for both to stop "defending" themselves and start to recognize each other and negotiate a fair deal.

Well, it's hard to argue really. Europe betrayed and sacrificed the Jews to Hitler and Nazism (lest we forget previous 2,000 years of persecutions, pogroms and inquisitions of course), now it's merely betraying and sacrificing the jews to Muslim/Arab fundamentalism and terrorism.

If god forbid the Islamofascists get the upper hand and wipe israel off the map Europe will do a lot of soul-searching, will be remorseful and apologetic, will vow to not let it happen again for the third time and will open Holocaust Redux museums all over the world....The museums will be a great hit and Europeans will once again be entitled to feel good and righteous about themselves.


PS Too bad, the jews are not the same so Europe can go holocaust itself before it can holocaust Israel.

Europe did NOT sacrifice the Jews to the Holocaust... 50 million people died or disappeared during WW2.. YOU are not the center of the universe.

Take it easy! NObody is talking about or threatening a holocaust in Europe. I'm sure everybody from nursery to nursing home knows or still remembers the holocaust. It will never happen again.

The threat of the second Holocaust is in the Middle East and Europe is indirectly helping by aiding and abetting those who are bent on making it happen.

They are grandstanding at the expense of Israel....if they happen to be wrong it's not them, it's the Jews who will perish and as I said the Europeans will just say oops, open a holocaust museum and look at themselves in the mirror with the sense of pride, satisfaction and righteousness.

 

And, the Europeans paid a huge price to fight Hitler... Your sense of entitlement and scorn for justice and human rights will be your undoing.. It makes you a pariah among nations.. You need MORE nukes and as Van Clevald says... keep them aimed at all the European capitals.

Who denies that? The issue is that today they aid and abet middle eastern hitlers committed to exterminating the jews/israel just as the German one was.

Human rights are just fine in the West and Israel, they are non-existent in your Saudi Arabia. You are a slave and servant to your husband, you are not allowed to drive, work, show your face, practice your religion, unless its Sunni Islam, vote, have an opinion.. who are you to lecture on human rights, what do you know besides what you hear in your mosques, sanctioned by your thieving oil sheiks?
