No personal offence, but it was so full of irony and potential self-mockery.

Yes please, go on... Keep justifying the BBQing scavengers outside the prison by irrelevantly bringing up wrong doings in prisons of different countries.

Oh Deus... Ego sum tam stultus...

Averte faciem tuam a peccatis meis... Et omnes iniquitates meas dele !

For all I care, they did Palestinian terrorists a great service - hundred of them already quit hunger strike, and started eating again. See, what the barbecue aroma did? :D

Rarely do I condone anything the far right does. In this particular case, however...smart move, very smart, they didn't come across as violent and blood thirsty and they also managed to send a clear message to the hunger strike organizer.

Scavengers are those sitting in jail cells for murder. Literally.

    Solution:
Recognize there is nothing wrong with
letting a Hunger Striker die from his choice.

Offer sustenance regardless of his choice.
And if the prisoner chooses not to eat it, let him die.
    No fuss.

PA youth magazine Zayzafouna, February 11 2011:
UNESCO - then sponsor of this youth magazine - statement regarding the article:
What was that about a story and a name of a store?

The sheer naivete of those who would believe convicted murderers just because they're anti-zionists doesn't cease to amaze me. Sick fantasies of hateful criminals. How can a site that pretends to care about justice publish such horrific accusations without the shadow of a shred of evidence? Hypocrisy in all its murky splendor. Talk about journalistic ethics...

Search that site for the description of the horrible deaths of young cadets training to become prison guards during the fire that ravaged the Carmel mountain in 2010. Maybe, just maybe, they happen to mention somewhere on their site that those young cadets died because they were sent to take convicted Palestinian murderers in the Damun prison out of the endangered area.

Did any of the sites you use as sources ever publish anything about those cadets?

Not quite. Barghouti, for instance, was tried and convicted by a civil court. Obviously you don't know anything about the Israeli justice system.

    1) this is an open forum, anyone can respond or not to any post they so choose

    2) to be honest I have no interest in your opinion whatsoever, which is why I generally ignore your posts

    3) of course you refuse to address the points in my prior post, because with non-credible posters, its all Israel all the time - no one is allowed to criticise anyone else or provide context or perspective regarding Israel's actions

It may not have been a violent act - but it still had ill motifs, and still was abuse of defenceless. People in jail are not capable of standing for themselves anymore, that is one of points of them being in jail - to have them rendered helpless and unable to harm anybody. And abusing them - is pretty much a criminal act, that deserves no praise.

Regardless of nationality and crime - right now they are convicts, going through deprivation of their freedom and majority of citizen and human rights. Abusing them is unjust, they have their sentences - and already are under them. Civilians from outside of legal system have no right to inflict any sort of abuse on them, including - basically, a torture of those who are on hunger strike. For whatever reason they started it - forcing them to abandon it, instead of negotiating - is violence.

    Yes, they do, Ninian.

Children in Pakistan's religious schools learn that Christians and Jews are not humans. Ali Eteraz, who was a student in such a school, wrote about it.

There's more on the subject, but I won't dwell on it, it's off topic. You can browse this site for more info on dehumanization of Jews and Israelis by the official Palestinian media:

Pretty clear why you are also completely without credibility. Your complaining about terrorists and mass murderers having to tolerate the smell of a barbecue, while remaining utterly silent about the monstrous crimes they committed to be sent there is quite telling about your character.

Some people are saying "Well, these Palestinian prisoners are criminals, terrorists, so they deserve to be taunted". This is obviously wrong and despicable, but let's assume for a second that they're right. The sad truth is that many, many Israelis – even members of the government – also laugh at innocent Palestinians who are being murdered, and they view it as entertainment:

When rockets fly from Gaza into Israel, what do these picnickers do?

That's right, hide in bomb shelters. You don't like them sitting in lawn chairs watching Israeli Defense Forces hit Gaza? Don't f****** shoot them rockets into Israel, and they'll have no opportunity watching IDF retaliating. Fair enough?

So you're comparing people who have endured thousands of rockets indiscriminately fired at them from Gaza for YEARS watching a war right on their doorstep, to people who are intentionally trying to kill them?

When the arabs were firing those thousands of rockets, did you speak up then? I doubt it.

Many of these prisoners have harmed innocent people and don't deserve the sympathy they are trying so hard to obtain with their strike. I feel sorry for the victims and their families.

    From Amnesty International:

In the 22-day Israeli military offensive (Operation “Cast Lead”) in Gaza between 27 December 2008 and 18 January 2009 some 1,400 Palestinians were killed, including some 300 children, and large areas of Gaza were razed to the ground, leaving many thousands homeless and the already dire economy in ruins. (…) Others, including women and children, were shot at short range when posing no threat to the lives of the Israeli soldiers. (...) white phosphorus was fired indiscriminately over densely populated residential areas, causing severe and fatal burn injuries as well as setting homes, schools and hospitals ablaze.

These Israelis view the mass murder of (non-jewish) children as entertainment. I think that that's extremely sick, and for that reason some posters on this forum call me a "jew hater". Yeah, whatever.

P.S. You may not realize this, but your constant use of "the F-word" doesn't give you any extra credibility.

    1) That was in between me and the high guy. Don't try to side with him against me by jumping into irrelevant stuff.

    2) Why do you respond multiple times then?

    3) I don't refuse anything dude. I just prefer stay "on" the topic. Have you said anything in those posts you quoted me about the "BBQ" which makes the "topic"? I must have missed it, please remind me.

And we speak of CONVICTS being abused by CIVILIANS. It does not matter, what is color of their skin, their origins or their crime, the moment they don a jail robe. Literally, nothing of that matters - they are inmates in jail, and already are having legal sentences. Any sort of abuse above them - is a crime. Explainable - but not excusable.

Because they are already in jail. IN the jail. They got judged, got sentenced - and there they are. And OTHER people are comitting QUESTIONABLE acts, criminal abuse - EXCUSING it by status of the victims. The point of jail is not to present convicts for public lynching, it is for them to go through a just sentence, able to either correct them and make them better people - or isolate them from public permanently. Latest - is harsh enough sentence on it's own, it does not requires anything above it.

So, so you understand - I am complaining about CIVILIANS abusing CONVICTS. It is not that hard to understand, that one can be strictly against ANYBODY performing such kind of abuse. If these citizens, for whatever reason, do not rely on police, jail system and laws - they can leave the country they are living in for a one that will satisfy their views on law. Abusing people who unable to defend themselves from this abuse - is not just. It is pretty much simple enough.

And by the way, guess what you approving that abuse tells about YOUR character.
