In today’s arena I find my self a liberal, a liberal who always appreciated a conservative. I find myself feeling good about moderate republicans. I always was very respectful and understood the there has to be another side to fixing an issue. I am a liberal because I want the best for everyone all Americans, for all to be happy and well off. Why does that make me a socialist? Especially when I did agree sometimes with the McCain’s the Romney’s and yes the occasional Rand Paul’s. My idea of country is not set in a box of republicans, independents, and democrats. I want what is greater for this country all the time and it’s selfish too because I know it will benefit me too. But now there is no side there is only the devastation of America that is looming. Whether I believe in global warming or not destruction is happening to our homes and families. How long do you think it will take insurance companies to either start charging way more for coverage or simply bankrupt themselves and run away with your money with the governments help. Storms are happening floods are happening there should not be an argument of that fact. And that’s just one form of the many ways we are destroying ourselves. Moderate republicans and democrats I can adjust to and respect their views even though they are completely disrespectful about mine. I want to debate, or argue I want to learn my own deficiencies but how am I to do that when we are literally in civil war type of destruction to our country. We killed our own people just to be right. Just to win. So I say to everyone it is definitely common enemy time cuz those idiots at the top will let it all burn just to be right and powerful for just mere moments or just in a tweet but definetly on the house floor.. I want to argue over the social issues it’s only human nature to care. But the same people who broke the system of our country are the same ones who are physically trying to break our country. Now I can see Ana Narvarro as hope and change lol but can you see me. If you do let’s get this done.

What do you think it takes to make things better for everyone and not just the politicians and the bureaucrats?

Individual liberties to the greatest extent possible, government limited to the greatest extent possible. Stay out of our pockets and get out of our way.

What I think is simply people need to think and not just react. People need to think for themselves and yes maybe do a good doctor and visual the whole process. No one can say what is right for another person but we can all agree that Americans suffering in mass is not so great so let’s start there fix the universal problems and then deal with the issues that actually aren’t killing anybody. I had to learn to bite my tongue and just take it so to just survive and I don’t wish that for anyone. I don’t want anyone to just shut up. But to answer your question the solution is simple and that is education. Children growing up with intelligence and foresight given to them by their elders. To give all children hope instead of a just nothing to lose mentality gripped with a 6 grade education. It causes a lot of problems. Crime, obedience or chaos is engraved in generations of our people because that’s all they have. Let’s give the something greater in the future for our future.

If you truly want what is best for everyone then you are for individual liberty and small government. Nations with big government that dictates life for everyone never ends well. The people end up suffering more.

If you want the best for all then you are for the government being as less in control of peoples lives as possible and each person's destiny up to them.

What do you mean by smaller government? I like my trash being picked up, my bridges being fixed, mail being delivered, our less fortunate being helped, educating our kids free of charge, our food being checked, our disaster fund, I like clean rivers and parks, like our good will across all nations. But if u mean our money our business set upon an actual free enterprise whereas the government taxes us at a fair rate to operate I’m all for it. If it’s government not imposing their will on women I’m all for it. If it’s fair and corporations who are people now have the same equal voice as you and I I’m all for it.

Each persons destiny unfortunately that’s not how it goes anymore only the gifted our legacy are given the right of consistency in life and in finance. Not the average extremely hard worker who can lose it all just from an idiot reading green eggs and ham. That’s right now. The fact is we allow pollution down to the basis of our existence which is our waterways. Our air. Poison everywhere and class action lawsuits to prove it. Government catered to business at the expense of the people. How can you actually tell people to pull themselves up by their boot straps when those straps are made in China.

    1. Teach children how to think Rather than what to think.
    2. It is ideas that matter not skin color. Common ideas are vastly more important than common skin color.
3.The welfare state begets poverty the same as fleas beget more fleas and for pretty much the same reason.
4.You determine what is success for you. However it should be axiomatic that if your idea of success is being stoned or drunk on a daily basis eating regular isn't in your future.
    5. You get paid according to your skill set. The rarer your skill set and the better you are at applying it the more you will get paid. However one should remember that skill sets like everything else become obsolete over time. The world's best button hook maker won't find work today. but he can learn a different skillset.
    6. The only effective way to raise all boats is to create more demand for labor anything else is just a chimaera or if you prefer feel good BS that won't help anyone and will harm a lot of people long term.
    7. If you rely upon the government for everything you are in essence the government's slave.
8.Beware of people who push common threat memes, generally they are looking for more power than they ought to be allowed.

I wholeheartedly agree with 1, 2, and 4 but the others not completely or at all.

    3. I can never compare millions of people to fleas as if they are nothing. Let not disrespect the people working 40+ hours a week at Walmart and many other different billion dollar companies for way less than the cost of living. They need food stamps sometimes to help them through. If you take people’s taxes and you don’t actually have a path to lift them out of poverty how are they ever going to get away food stamps. People actually want house a car they have aspirations. And food stamps for our people is a drop in the bucket of our economy. I feel blaming a solution to poor education, poor job training, and businesses that make the rules is just a cop out. Those are some reasons people need help and I neglected to mention the healthcare problem that destroys incomes.

    5. I agree with it somewhat but I am mindful that the people who risk their lives to protect us, those who teach us and those who labor destroying their bodies so to build this country up they all get paid like crap.

6 I agree so why aren’t we all on board with infrastructure?

    7. I do expect government to do exactly what we pay them to do but they take it upon themselves to take more and more, the problem is not government because private industries track record is take more and more they don’t care about you. So let’s compare a soldier who works for the government vs a 30 year loyal hard average worker. Government secured our soldiers retirement vs private industry doesn’t care about your pensions or your health. Government is formed by the people it isn’t that the functions of government is to vast it’s just we willing give away our rights for tag lines and talking points from BSers.

    8. You are responding saying your point because you feel you are right. So to convince me or others your point we have to have a common issue or life experience for one to agree. If you can’t even agree that a problem is problem that in itself is a problem. One can not honestly say they are completely conscious if they are not conscious of others and the many forms of life that make up our existence.

    3. I wasn't comparing anyone to fleas. Merely stating that it is the nature of welfare states to spread not reduce poverty.

    4. Define lime crap. Cops can easily make 50 -60k a year once they've been on the job for a few years. Buck privates don't make crap, but you're only a buck private four about four months unless you're a complete screw up. Teachers start out around 30k average is much higher especially with a masters or a doctorate, get into administration and the money is way better. The local school superintendant makes more than the governor and mayor combined.

6-Got me. Done right over time infrastructure projects pay for themselves. Done wrong, well let's just say we don't need another monument to some politician's ego.

    7. Private industry better care about there workers and customers or they'll wind up with out any of either. Government not so much there not constraint on government to reduce costs save what tax payers compel through the electoral process. That's why democracies love the ever expanding power conferred upon them by those demanding more and more services via the welfare state.

8.This exists not because you said it but rather because there is a very long history among those attempting to expand government power by declaring this that or the other to be some sort of crises that can only be resolved by yielding up more power over your day to day life to the bureaucracy. It rarely solves the problem and often exacerbates it.

The only thing that makes you a socialist is believing that company should be owned by the laborers, in the philosophy that everyone should get paid a wage just for existing.

The problem is that you have 50,000 people doing it when it only takes 500.

These 50,000 create layers and layers of Bureaucracy which ultimately makes them less effective than if they were a smaller more focused group.

That is what we mean by big government.
