that Donald Trump had been doing lines backstage before the debate on Monday. Proof not needed and none is forthcoming - this is the Opinions and Beliefs Thread. I remarked to my wife during the debate about Donald's 'sinus' problem and we both chuckled. It is also well known that cocaine is epidemic in Manhattan, is the narcotic of choice on Wall Street and includes a very efficient courier system, and the gendarmes look the other way as it is pervasive and involves the very rich and powerful.

If true it would not only be hilarious but sad at the same time. :)

We'll never know if he was 'riding the train', but if he was, it would also be disqualifying. I do think Trump gets off pushing and crossing every limit there is so it wouldn't surprise me.

Does that mean that Hillary's coughing attacks are caused by smoking too much pot?

If he was doing blow...it was the wrong time to be doing it.

Whether he does blow or not does not particularly matter to me. His lack of substance and character do.

He is the least qualified major party candidate during my lifetime.

I hope he loses and loses big.

IF he wins...I will wish him the best of luck in his part in governing our country.

It was interesting to see that he flatly denied that he was doing any sniffing during the debate!!!

That is denial on a massive scale.

There is also another story that is going around. Apparently once it appeared that Trump would win the nomination the Trump women had a crises. They knew that they would have to be making public appearances yet being the fat cats that they are they all had a little too much weight going around. Makeup can fix their faces but fat is not so easy to hide. Add in the Trump laziness (You can't hire someone to exercise for you.) and the only way for them to lose the weight was by use of weight loss drugs. Methamphetamine is perhaps the most effective drug to quickly reduce obesity. There are no fat tweakers. While meth is more commonly smoked or injected many users snort it. It also has the characteristic of causing one to ramble.

Cocaine is a risky proposition for Trump.

With all of his excess weight (and clinical obesity) it could easily trigger a massive coronary event.

Blow will also cause you to lose weight, or so I hear (really). Trump himself is probably 30# overweight and could use a little something for the waistline. Additionally, he is classically ugly. Is there a drug for that?

The thing about cocaine is that it is only like a 20-30 minute high. Rock stars can play 2 hour sets high on cocaine because they can easily pop behind speaker stacks and get a refresh line every now and then. Plus there is the thing that for an old fat man like Trump cocaine could easily trigger a heart attack. Cocaine use has been on the decline for a long time. Meth would seem to be the more likely drug. It would keep his energy up and he would not be at a loss for things to say and it can last from hours to days. It would also help him lose weight.

I hear beer works wonders for that. Not for his ugliness but rather to blur the drunken eyes of those who look at him.

I deem us BREATHERS. We feel he is secretly bowing down to a foreign God, CRACK. OR meth. I am open to other possibilities.

I was going to say something to that effect. After 4-5 beers on a Friday night, even ugly girls start to look pretty about 11PM.

Correlation does not imply causation. Speculation is without limits and as such makes any claim plausible. I find it deeply disturbing that so many value speculative based opinion over being objective. As I have no proof to the positive nor the negative I remain neutral pending new evidence that may or may not lead me to a conclusion.

Yeah,it was just weird seeing & hearing him sniffing so much, well, there goes his whining about the mic being turned down low conspiracy theory---He is obsessive in everything else he does,so it is plausible he is a secret coke or meth addict,I would say coke as he doesn't have the open sores associated with over meth use, but,he does wear a suit & tie,so he could have those open sores, so,what else is he going to spend his money on as he certainly is not spending his money paying his fair share of taxes-----or his he stiffing his drug supplier too-even dealers have to get paid----maybe the dealer will sue----Now,there's a scandal----October Surprise???

No because GMO Medical Marijuana does not cause coughing but it actually enhances faster and more logical brain activity. Why do you think she came across so much better in the debate!

I have no problem drug testing candidates before they are elected and randomly afterwards. That includes every member of Congress. If it's important enough for us, it's important enough for them.

    I wouldn't go that far.

But, seeing Trump's test (before the debate) would've been fun.

Why not go that far? The rationale for drug testing everyone else is perfectly applicable to them. Why should they be exempt?

    PF's RULE #5

    ___________

NOW (Back on Topic)--Considering the lack of videotape evidence and no pre-debate drug test, we will probably never know if he used cocaine (or not).

That said, I assume he will avoid "sniffling" in future debates.:salute:

    11. THREAD CREATION

The opening post of a thread sets the topic and the tone of the discussion. It should contain a member's opinions or questions with sufficient elaboration to establish a foundation for respectful discussion and debate. Threads should not be posted in the wrong forum, or be duplicates of other threads and/or topics (creating multiple threads with fundamentally the same topic is not allowed). Images, links, quotations, etc., should be used to support a member's opinion, not to replace it. Quoting from an article is optional. If a quote is added, it must be clearly distinguishable from the personal commentary. Quotes may only contain a small portion of the article. We do not allow the entire article to be posted. Personal commentary must be a paragraph with at least 3 sentences of respectful elaboration. Thread titles should be a description of the thread topic (and if not they may be altered by the moderators). Whether a thread has sufficiently set a basis for respectful debate on the thread topic will be at the discretion of the moderators. All other board rules apply to thread titles and creation. Threads may be deleted, merged or closed for not meeting any of the requirements listed.

There are additional rules for "Latest U.S and World News" and "Current Events": All thread titles must be copy/pasted from source article titles. Article titles that are too long to fit, should be abbreviated, keeping as close to the original title as possible. No personal opinions are allowed within thread titles. Threads must have a sourced article or news video, and the full article/video must be accessible upon clicking. (Content behind a paywall does not qualify as a source.)

Drug? What are you talking about. Marijuana is an herb. It is what gives my brownies that spicy flavor.
