I have never seen a party become so culturally irrelevant in such a short time. Obama ran as a progressive for the first time in 2012, in 2008 he ran as a liberal.

So in less than 7 years, the progressive led dem party has utterly embarrassed and destroyed itself. They have nothing in their war chest, the already left leanings polls show their lead has dissolved nation wide (Trust me, they were always losing).

    They have completely outed their socialist selves and have nothing on Trump. On the other hand, here's what Trump has accomplished;

    1) Highest employment rate for blacks and Latinos in history.
    2) More women working than ever, 73 million.
    3) The unification through peace of Korea.
    4) The lowest illegal immigration since who knows when.
    5) Unemployment at insanely low levels.
    6) Our enemies fear.

Trump is going to go down as one of the greatest presidents in history, and the dem party has become the laughing stock of the moral nation.

I wouldn't put the party hats on just yet.

Despite the atrocious decisions made by the party over the past few years, in the long run I don't see how they don't come out on top. They control academia, the media, and the administrative state. They dominate pop culture and determine in our society what's funny and what's cool. Remember, they ran Hillary Clinton as their candidate, basically an alcoholic criminal, and she still won the popular vote.

Demography is destiny and in the long run, that's on the side of the Democrats.

Individual rights, liberty and economic freedom will never 'be over', no matter who's voted into power. Why do you think the totalitarians are so desperate to disarm the citizenry of inexpensive, effective weaponry?

I think the game-changer currently going on is that the mainstream media is now at all time low levels of TRUST by the people. The media can't sustain that for long periods since their revenue depends upon trust of what they are telling us.

The latest media lie debunked is the "blue wave" thing, and Tuesday republican turnout was higher than democrat turnout in every major primary election.

After dems reaching the lowest level of power not seen SINCE 1929, across the board in less than a decade, dems are on the ropes. They and the media are doing their best to not let the people know that.

That's 89 YEARS of power change in less than a decade. It's pre-Roosevelt. If they were really interested in winning elections then they would have changed by moving toward the center instead of moving further left.

Maybe she didn't win the popular vote. In some states such as Utah, voter fraud was uncovered late in the game, and the 4 million popular votes went the other way. Hillary's U.S. margin was only 3 million.

The media appears to be blocking efforts to get the up-to-date U.S. count. Google/Bing search yields only old dates when the electoral count was something like 306 vs 232.

When Texas goes down its over for everyone, really. Its means we're North Mexico and will gain all the glorious benefits Hispanic culture has contributed to the world. 1/2 of a continent that mostly a giant poophole.

There is no pushback going on in California, the Democrats run this state.

There are just are not enough white people in this state and that problem will soon come to Texas and then the whole country because of all the electoral votes they hold

Every year Texas turns a lighter shade of red and coincidentally the percentage of Hispanics in that state grows larger.

The GOP steadfastly ignores unmistakeable warning signs of a pending disaster. A major tremor came early in Trump’s presidency with the global Woman’s March. This was a breathtaking historical event that heralded the rise of women’s power in politics.

An ongoing tsunami is the rapidly shifting demographics to women and hispanic voters. There is also a growing percentage Independent voters moving decidedly toward Democrats. Young voters (18-35) overwhelming register either Democrat or Independent.

In every special election held in 2017, Republicans gave up their seats to Democratic challengers - sometimes by large margins. Large turnout by women and minorities swung the elections away from the GOP.

The low approval of president Trump has been a major factor in driving this trend. His base of support holds steadfastly at mid thirty to forty percent of voters. Trump has neither desire nor plan to enlarge his base to include the remaining 65% of Americans.

The clouds of the Mueller investigation hangs over the administration like a gathering storm. Trump’s continued focus on collusion with Russians is like a rabbit sitting comfortably on a railroad track ignoring the train emerging from the fog. Mueller has long since moved from collusion to Russian and partners money laundering, illegal foreign business dealings, profiteering from office, and obstruction of justice.

There is mounting evidence that Democrats have gotten the message…don’t ignore white working class voters and respond only to minorities. This has been a significant wake up to the Democrats. Recent special elections have seen white voters respond favorably to this change. It is projected to continue.

These facts are hard to ignore and 36 GOP representatives have seen the coming train and retired from office. They know the GOP is headed for disaster in 2018 and wanted no part of the wreckage.
