The Trumpers ignore the obvious, a mark of all good Trumpers.

<Mod Edit- Rule 3>Trump's approval rating is now over 50%. Mueller is a case of crash and burn. His efforts have only revealed collusion between Dems and Ruskies far greater than anything alleged for Trump and Ruskies. Moneywise, the Dems have been caught red handed receiving money for Uranium sent to Russia, and sending public gov't funds to Iran and their personal banks in the Cayman Islands.

Gelecski7238, your take is way off and not centered in reality. Trump's actual approval rate is proven by the exception: right around 40% with a 9 to 16 dislike differential against him.

Uraninum None is a nothing burger.

The only collusion that has been really suggested by the evidence is GOP/Trumper/Russian collusion.

The only money that went to Iran were its own frozen assets.

When Mueller's report is released in the first two weeks of August and the blue surge sweep of November destroys the GOP in Congress, just what are you going to do?

    1) Highest employment rate for blacks and Latinos in history. On the back of President Obama's recovery, yes.
    2) More women working than ever, 73 million. Again, thanks to President Obama.
    3) The unification through peace of Korea. Somebody is smoking something good.
    4) The lowest illegal immigration since who knows when. No need for a wall then.
    5) Unemployment at insanely low levels. Again, thanks to President Obama.
    6) Our enemies fear. They laugh at us.

Sauk, if you were being inventively funny about Trump, you are a master.

I think we've seen time after time that the people can be lead to follow their totalitarians right over a cliff. Venezuela has the economic potential of Norway, but look how they screwed it up. People voted for that.

Her popular vote win was the result of California. That's the model for the future.

What is obvious is how some folks are clinging to the "hope and change" garbage. It ain't happening.

You think August is when he releases the report? That's too early. My guess is October, maybe 10 days before the election.

    Interesting points.

There is truth in your observations.

On the other hand, the country has a history of taking hard cultural/ideological detours, only to self correct and return back to a more centrist path.

The hard left/progressive direction Democrats are trying to take the country leaves 10's of millions of citizens on the other side. Ignoring them will be difficult to sustain.

Consider the collective mindset of the country that brought about prohibition. 13 years later, the country returned to it's senses and changed back to a more reasoned and less controversial path.

    1. Each correction still had the country further to the left with a more centralized state than before.

    2. Demography is destiny. What will the politics of the country be like when most of the voting age population regards itself as an oppressed minority?

To point 1, perhaps. No question the cultural values of society have changed over the decades and centuries.

To point 2, I'm not convinced the current acrimony being stoked and promoted for political gain has the kind of legs the instigators of it are hoping for.

I think it will be very difficult to keep people at each others throats over an extended period of time. In the end, I think people will tire of the manipulation and propaganda, which will diminish the effectiveness of the effort.

It seems like it's easier to keep people at each other's throats than the reverse.

Well it's certainly easy to do that right now.

I think a big part of that is the new way people are getting information.

As time goes by, I think people will become more discerning, as the newness and power of social media, etc., becomes less influential.

Fair enough. I likely won't be around in 20-30 years, so it won't be my problem.

So if you are giving Obama credit for all of that then you must be giving Bush credit, and not Obama, for turning the economy around, right?

    Or is that different?

You may come to regret that post after the midterms or when the interest payments begin to rise on the ballooning national debt that is paying for the present prosperity. Remember that George Bush jr. also ran the national debt into the sky, and everyone was happy until the overheated economy crashed and the figurative punchbowl was taken away.

Oh, and to your comment number six you should have added, "and we have no friends left."

Your reality is CNN blindness/fake news. Trump's approval rating just jumped from 60% to 62%.

Whoopy Goldberg was aghast on TV at her associate's admitting that Trump's role in getting the release of the 3 American prisoners is a commendable achievement. One-track mind and one-track mouth.

Hillary paid a Russian spy to forge a document supporting the investigation of collusion. The cancelled check has been recovered.

Money that Obama received for the Uranium sold to Russia went to a bank in the Cayman Islands.

The crooked media sure has you buffaloed right out of touch with reality.

Any OP that includes the BLOTUS and the term "moral nation" in the same sentence has ZERO credibility!

Just curious but do you ever post anything other than your fallacious obsession about past election results?

Probably not so let's see your CREDIBLE NON PARTISAN substantiation for your bogus allegation that the "latest media lie debunked is the "blue wave" thing".

Your own post betrays what you say when you continue posting in a thread you don't like. Those that ignore history are destined to repeat it. And then there's Einstein's definition of insanity (paraphrased), insanity is repeating the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

The "results" are that dems have been losing elections SINCE 2010.

    Ironic!

Now what happened to that CREDIBLE NON PARTISAN substantiation for your bogus allegation that the "latest media lie debunked is the "blue wave" thing"?

Since you did not provide anything that means it must have come from somewhere that was NOT credible.
