I am taking Ivermectin as a prophylactic until I get the vaccine.

The dose is 2 tablets once a fortnight (2 weeks) and it costs $6 for 12 weeks of coverage or about $25 for the entire year.

The ADVANTAGE to this approach is that if I do become infected the Ivermectin REDUCES the viral load thereby ensuring that I have LESS severe symptoms than I would otherwise experience.

Ivermectin is cheap effective insurance for someone in the High Risk category of dying from Covid19.

 

In one test in a hospital or other clinical setting here in the US, a double blind test was conducted regarding prophylactic properties of Ivermectin. Some received that drug, the others a placebo.

In the group taking Ivermectin, not a single person came down with the Covid, I think there were 80+ in that group.

I am listening to my GP and we have a good time DEBUNKING the Covid conspiracies together. She is now a proponent of the Cockup Theory instead. We look at the FACTUAL data and discount the self serving drivel. There has been a lot to wade through but I have yet to see any NEGATIVE results from the prophylactic use of Ivermectin and I have no desire to have to NEED it when it comes to coming down with the virus. My GP is on board so I expect to get early effective treatment if that does occur. The secret being to ensure that the viral load does NOT reach critical mass and start overwhelming the body. I know people who did get it and survived but they spend half their life in bed trying to recover.

Yes I agree, as I wrote Ivermectin is believed to give some effective protection while you are regularly taking it. I mis-wrote where I wrote "they are only used when already infected". The half-life of Ivermectin is only 12-36 hours so after a fornight there won't be much in the system so would it give any significant protection? The argument by those who are promoting Ivermectin and Hydroxy is that pharmas are promoting the vaccine to make lots of money yet they ignore that Ivermectin and Hydroxy have to be taken for life (how would you decide when to stop) which would make the pharma companies much more money than the vaccine. I also presume that the cost of Ivermectin that you are taking is subsidized as the cost is normally around ten times that cost when bought privately?
