    And?

    Who is going to even invest in new refining and drilling with Biden doing everything he can to shut them down? What has he done to insure our domestic supplies and capacities will meet our needs?

    Our refineries don’t have a capital budget to built a new refinery…..they rather spend money on expansion and reactivation. Also, their decisions, not Biden.

    You mean we haven’t nationalized petroleum? That means that all of the nonsense trying to blame Biden for price of an internationally traded commodity is bullshit! What about the fact that the US production is higher than it’s ever been?

    I have addressed the huger production canard over and over. What about the fact we a barely over pre-COVID. What about it has nothing to do with Biden policies in fact it is in spite of them. Wha aboit the $4 a gallon we are hitting again. What about his new anti-oil and gas policies just announced?

    We’ve achieved a record high in December 2023, 13.3 million barrels per day.

    Current production; 13.10 million barrels per day, + imports - exports.

    Trump’s record high, 13.0 million barrels per day, November 2019, + imports - exports

    Tomorrow’s domestic demand; Not significantly higher than today’s domestic production + imports - exports

    However, in the next 10 - 20 years, an extra demand for gasoline and diesel will primarily be a THIRD WORLD demand.

    Okay, I am putting my neck out here to make a prediction: Polls don't matter, but Trump will win in November.

    Why? Very simple, people look back at their pre-covid lives in rose-colored glasses. And then they think about who was president then.

    Net increase; 3.238 m bpd

    Crude oil exports;

    Feb 2017; 1.146 m bpd
    Feb 2018; 1.735
    Feb 2019; 2.915
    Feb 2020; 3.537

    Fuel prices are double what they were under President Trump.

    Inflation was about 1 percent under President Trump.

    Interest rates are out of wack because interest rates on housing are beyond what a young family can afford. Thanks to Biden's run away inflation.

    What world are you living in to believe anything you wrote?

    Now if you really want to try and compare rates for covid when prices plummeted due to demand vs the end of the pandemic when supply spiked and your glorious idiot threatened SA to cut production and thus the supply decreased — we can.

    Mmm, yeh… did anything happen at the end of trumps term that would have caused global inflationary pressures? Do you really think anyone that isn’t a complete moron doesn’t comprehend this?

    The US has some of the lowest levels of inflation across all G7 nations. And economists disagree with you.

    But you are entitled to believe whatever you want.
    Reality. Earth. Not the right wing blogosphere that seems to be where you are pulling data that suits your agenda

    What I comprehend is that you can't answer the simple question. What has Biden done to ensure our domestic drilling and production will meet our needs now and in the future and to bring down the cost. You can harp oh the fact that as I showed you the reason we are barely at the production we were pre-COVID it is because of the private companies themselves squeezing out everything they could. YES we import heavy crude, refine it and export it SO WHAT.

    Just show me the Biden policies to increase our capacity to drill and refine oil and gas..................show me where he is campaigning on assuring us those future supplies and capacity. What is his plan?

    Question; What Biden has done to ensure our domestic drilling and production will meet our needs NOW and in the future and to bring down the cost?

    Reference to the NOW, you keep repeating the same falsehood over and over again.

    Pleeeeease repeat the following indisputable fact 100 times, so that it remains firmly in your memory;

    We are NOW producing and importing enough crude oil to meet today’s demand.

    Why do you keep demanding I repost what I have already cited?

    The question is what did Biden do, what policies to get production up and keep it up and to meet our future needs?

    Seems none of you can list any.

    Well, there’s one fact you can’t deny, and here it is;

    Biden has ALLOWED our oil producers to increase their output to a record high;

    Trump’s record high; 13.0 million barrels per day, November 2019

    Biden’s record high; 13.3 million barrels per day, December 2023

    You can't cite anything Biden has done here to insure our domestic supplies and capacities.

    Dodge noted again. I have not disputed that we have of recent months barely surpassed pre-COVID output. So repeat after me

    I do not have to keep repeating that canard.
    I do not have to keep repeating that canard.
    I do not have to keep repeating that canard.
    I do not have to keep repeating that canard.

    Now explain which of his policies are promoting expanding or capacity to keep us energy independent and gas prices low.

    Looking into your crystal ball, thus, in 10, 20, 50 years from now, all you see is diesel and gasoline, hence you have a myopic view of tomorrow’s energy needs.

    Instead of making up things about me how about you responding?

    Now explain which of his policies are promoting expanding or capacity to keep us energy independent and gas prices low.
