For the last two or three years I’ve been asking the left to name something that isn’t racist and never will be. With this thread they finally named something.

Why not ask around and find out. Once you've identified a negro, ask them if they mind you (a white person) referring to them thusly. If they object, you need to ask them why - since yourself and Joe Biden have decided they ought not be offended. You'll want to know why they have the audacity to disobey, after all.

In a recent conversation, Brandon came up via a news item, and the Proggy I was talking to pretended to know nothing about it. It was HILARIOUS. Then he tried to brush it off as a miniscule 'American far right' in-joke known only to that tiny cohort. When I pointed out that a song celebrating Brandon was the number one selling song worldwide (ousting Adele), he lost his mind and shut down. You could actually see the shutters slamming closed on any further thought.

They really have a problem with it, bless 'em. None of their anti-Trump rhetoric ever had this much attention, let alone made it to international music charts - a clear indication that it's worldwide, crosses demographics, and is about much more than Joe. That's gotta sting a bit

I don't want you as a puppet. I want you to back up your beliefs with actions. You say "Negro" isn't offensive. I say prove it.

You don't wanna prove it? I mean, I get it - you know it WILL offend blacks should you use it on them. We both know that. You wanna defend Biden by saying that when he referred to Paige as "The great negro" that that somehow isn't offensive? Hey, knock yourself out. But you've lost this one. You wanna delude yourself by thinking that his saying "Negro Leagues" makes it okay when we both know that referring to TNL as TNL is a different thing than referring to Paige as a negro himself? At best you're trying to muddy the waters here and at worst deflecting away from the first part of Bidens sentence (which is definitely problematic) by focusing on the second.

Either one is a logical fallacy on your part. You have yet to acknowledge that calling Paige "The Great Negro" is somehow a problem and there's no way to convince you that it is unless you start calling other blacks negroes so that you can see for yourself what the problem is.

 

It also drives them nuts that people are having fun with it.
