Surprised more Republicans on here didn't have any comments about this. Listened to the whole thing and it's funny as Hell hearing John Oliver tear apart the Republicans front runners . The best part is Donald Trump has more integrity then anybody else the GOP has running, except maybe Kasich

The video is not available in "my country". This is the reason (one of the reasons) there is a forum rule saying videos should support opinions, not replace them. Would you care to explain what's going on?

 

Oliver points out that Trump is really a lying flip flopping commie loon that has supported high taxes, partial birth abortion, strict gun control, etc. That Trump has been a far left donk for 50 years of his adult life until 15 minutes before he decided to run as a Republican.

I agree. I won't be voting for him, but I can't figure out why the loons haven't warmed up to him..

I never understood this, what's this Drumpf thing about? I've seen this crop up a bit here and there, but I can't find any way in which it's not just name calling, and particularly meaningless name calling at that. For instance, what does it have to do with this discussion? I must admit I have not watched the thing, as explained above.

 

At some point the family name of of Drumpf was anglicized as Trump as are many, many American surnames. I'm actually glad my surname was anglicized from Hitler Bin Laden to Henry Bindleman.

Trump attacked Jon Stewart over his families name change, saying he was not proud of his families heritage... thus they returned the favor

It's a cheap hit piece with a lot of quibbling but few real substantive points. Oliver makes some real good points, but they're pretty harshly overridden by such clear bias, to be taken no more seriously than D'Zousa's hit piece on Obama.

That being said, the OP should contain its own argument. I'm happy for the OP to contain a reference to the video for completeness, but if I am to discuss it on the forum and not with Oliver himself, I'd like to hear the forum user's emphasis and phrasing. We might read in different things into the text, and frankly, it's a lot quicker for me to skim through a text to see if I'm at all interested.

 

What would it take to convince you that drumpf is nothing but a con man? Children usually have to be told only once that the Easter Bunny isn't real. Why is it that adult drumpf fans, even after the truth has been revealed, are having such a hard time believing that drumpf isn't real, and that he is playing them for fools?
