And where did you think they are waiting and how long did you think it takes to hear their asylum claims, which by the way, about 6% are approved.
You are obviously unfamiliar with Bidens border policies which requires their release into the US if they claim asylum.
Even NY Mayor just came out and stated he can't even turn over criminal illegals to ICE for deportation.
But feel free to make up what ever makes you feel better.

Yet another false leftist propaganda claim.
When you get caught up with the actual news where Democrats had 1.8 million illegals released into the US per that bill, do let everyone know you got caught up.

See, that's the thing, - millions were already expulsed aka sent back, and about 1.5M are waiting for their applications to be rejected

Sure, it became the standard during the Bush Jr admin. The law required them to have chance to be heard, but there are not enough facilities to hold them all, so they wait elsewhere. Remember buses being unloaded in El Paso in the middle of the night. I do.

Actually its you who got caught up repeating fake news. By now you should know better than, but you choose torepeat stuff you hear RW MSM, or your political leader claim. The law would have eliminated catch and release (aka no more releasing people into the US), and allow for 5000 per day to be taken to detention centers for 60 days, and after that deported unless their application had been approved (which it would not have been). You can research, or ask the GOP Senators who were involved in writing the bill, and learn the true, but I doubt you are interested in the truth.

PS Senator Lankwood is not a 'leftist' politician, - he is Conservative.

It was not up to him. He takes his orders from Trump, and the order was to trash-can the bill. Keeping the problem benefits Trump more than fixing it.

exactly, and that is why he requested something he did not think possible, but dems and repubs came together and made it happen, so then he had to go to plan b

    1. There is no possibility to have asylum hearings for millions of illegals that fast. You just made it all up.

    2. There is no border policy that allows deportation

    3. Biden border policy the REQUIRES these asylum seeking illegals to be released into the US.

Yet unlike you, I actually read Bidens border policy and know what it says.

I will even provide you Bidens policies so you can read it, instead of making up stories about what you think you know.

    1. Executive Order on the Revision of Civil Immigration Enforcement Policies and Priorities – January 20, 2021
This is Bidens order that rescinded the prompt removal of all undocumented immigrants.

    2. Preserving and Fortifying Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) – January 20, 2021
Bidens order to fortify the DACA program that provides relief from deportation

3, Proclamation on the Termination Of Emergency With Respect To The Southern Border Of The United States And Redirection Of Funds Diverted To Border Wall Construction – January 20, 2021
Bidens orders to cancel border wall projects and contracts.

4, Executive Order on Ensuring a Lawful and Accurate Enumeration and Apportionment Pursuant to the Decennial Census – January 20, 2021
Bidens orders to include undocumented immigrants for the 2020 Census

    5. Memorandum Reinstating Deferred Enforced Departure for Liberians – January 20, 2021
Bidens orders that reinstated Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) program that provides temporary protection against deportation

    6. DHS Statement on the Suspension of New Enrollments in the Migrant Protection Protocols Program – January 20, 2021
Bidens orders for the removal of the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) also known as the Remain in Mexico policy

    7. Executive Order on Creating a Comprehensive Regional Framework to Address the Causes of Migration, to Manage Migration Throughout North and Central America, and to Provide Safe and Orderly Processing of Asylum Seekers at the United States Border – February 2, 2021
Bidens orders to strengthen the asylum and refugee protection systems making it harder to remove illegals making false claims

    8. Executive Order on Rebuilding and Enhancing Programs to Resettle Refugees and Planning for the Impact of Climate Change on Migration – February 4, 2021
Bidens order on fortifying programs to resettle refugees and to examine the impact of climate change on migration.

    9. Memorandum for the Secretary of State on the Emergency Presidential Determination on Refugee Admissions for Fiscal Year 2021 – May 3, 2021
Bidens order that increased the refugee admissions ceiling for FY 2021 from 15,000 to 62,500. Biden also reaffirmed his intention to raise the ceiling to 125,000 for FY 2022.

    FALSE
Which is why, instead of just repeating leftist propaganda, I actually read the bill

    American Immigration Council
The Emergency National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act

    https://www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/research/analysis-senate-border-bill
The bill creates a new process into which people can be placed who come to the U.S./Mexico border without papers, as an alternative to expedited removal. This “protection determination” process is designed to take six months, during which time the asylum seeker would be allowed to live in the community in the U.S., while monitored under government Alternatives to Detention programs.

So again, you are caught just making up claims that don't exist.

No, its not false, and I read it too, and heard it from Lankford (R), who was one of the authors. He is a Conservative Republican and his statements are in line with the text in the bill, and he also has no reason to spread "leftist propaganda". I knew you don't care about the truth. You are on a life mission to repeat after your political leader, who just happens to be a pathological liar.

So, what I said about ending the catch and release, and the 90 day rule is factually correct. Earlier I also said I have no interest in another round of repetition, knowing I am wasting my time. I have provided the facts and quotes in other threads, and you ignored them then and would so to again.

Thanks, but that is a link to an opinion piece.

I don't think any political leader wrote the information for the American Immigration Council to post but if thats the best you can come up with,
if its all ya got, its all ya got.

So you refuse to acknowledge whats actually in the bill, that you were provided, because you heard something from Lankford?
Proving again, you prefer propaganda over what actually IN the bill.
    Thanks for confirming

    Not even close
What part of This “protection determination” process is designed to take six months, is in you 90 day rule?
And you forgot that you also claimed, they would be held in detention centers, not released.
Which you were proven wrong yet again
during which time the asylum seeker would be allowed to live in the community

So now you admit, all you have provided is what you saw in other post, and not from the actual bill itself.
And since you like what you read in other post, you prefer the propaganda over whats actually in the bill.

The American Immigration Council is an opinion piece?
The leftist cult has you trained well.
Ignore all document or offices and just regurgitate what we tell you.
    You are too funny

what part of this are you against, could it do more, sure, but what parts are you again so much that you would not want to start with this, work for more later

this sounds like a win for republicans, the only thing they could really say is it doesn't go far enough, but you take what you can get, try for more later

    it's a win\win (dems get Ukraine funding)

if you wait for a Trump deal, I bet will be much like that bigger better Iran deal we are still waiting for, or the deal with North Korea or China.. That never happened

They are an advocacy group, and they write opinions, like the one you linked in. Did you think you were quoting the text from the Bill?

I literally just told you I have provided links and quotes, but have no interest in having the same conversation on a dozen different threads, especially after I have learned that trying to discuss anything with you is usually a waste of time. We would repeat the discussion again, only to see you re-start it again on another thread tomorrow.

The are a DEMOCRAT advocacy group who protects and represents illegal immigrants.
Now (Magically) you don't even believe them?
Its amazing what the left flip flops on day to day

You provided information that been proven wrong over and over
You knowingly ignore Bidens actual policies because it doesn't work for your narrative
You knowingly misquote what the bill says because it doesn't work for your narrative
You knowingly make up what the bill actually says because it doesn't work for your narrative

No wonder you left the other thread to start regurgitating this stuff again

They are not Dem or GOP. I said they write opinions, which is true, but you disagree because you thought you were quoting from the bill. Besides, nothing in your link even supports your claims. Have a nice day.

Yawn, in 2022 they deported a whooping 142k, that's it. It's beyond ridiculous Biden is adding a Los Angelos population every year. Almost as many immigrants as American babies being born. Brilliant strategy. Oh, and the clock is ticking, how many days shall we wait for Biden to speak on the recent illegal alien he let in, that killed the Georgia nursing student???

No, that's not it. CBP data shows millions of expulsions right at the border. I have linked in the stats on a number of threads on this topic. Millions were sent back.

Here is just 2020 vs 2021 alone. Over a million, and the expulsions only accelerated.

    @balancing act

Your article is fake news... it is an opinion piece by a nobody named Stuart Anderson... who literally does not show Mike Johnson saying anything, signing anything, or any input by Johnson anytime anywhere... your fake opinion columnist write " it is clear Johnson’s goal was to prevent the House of Representatives" if that is all it takes to start a thread then you need to step back take a breath...

"Johnson Intended To Stop Ukraine Aid" was the guys opinion.... not anything Johnson ever said

Who was it that ended Title 42? Oh yeah, Biden.

And heres some information you should get caught up on

    House Judiciary Committee
    https://judiciary.house.gov/sites/e...-lack-of-interior-immigration-enforcement.pdf
Far from disincentivizing the flood of illegal immigration by detaining and removing illegal aliens, President Joe Biden and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas continue to release illegal aliens into U.S. communities en masse. In fact, in early December 2023, DHS officials admitted that “an average of 5,000 illegal aliens are currently being released into the U.S. each day at the border. Even Secretary Mayorkas has acknowledged the high rate of releases, telling Border Patrol “that the current rate of release for illegal immigrants apprehended at the southern border is ‘above 85%

Roam the U.S.? These are people looking for work and a home, not cattle.

I'm pro immigrant. This country is always better when we encourage more immigration. They pay taxes, they boost local economies, which creates local jobs. These are human beings, not vermin as Trump likes to call them, using Hitler's words.

The Republicans added border security measures to the aid bill, not the other way around. After weeks of negotiation, the Senate came up with a list that included virtually every border security measure the GOP asked for. But after speaking to Trump, Mike Johnson declared that the bill was "dead in the water" in the House. Trump does not want the border fixed while he can use it as a cudgel against Biden. The fact that lives are in the balance means nothing to Trump. Those are vermin at the border, not human beings, according to your hero.

As you know Title 42 ended in 2022, so now we are deporting people and we deported 143k in 2023.
