While I support your right to hold that opinion, it's not based in facts. Even the President can't say the CIA and FBI was working outside the law. That's why he asked for an investigation… because there is no evidence. He just thinks he can find some. He won't. Having conversations and asking questions isn't spying. There was no agent embedded in the Trump campaign.

I'm not a Democrat, but it seems to me that Republicans demanding access to classified information during an active investigation, without allowing any Democrats to view the same information, is actively fighting transparency in "discovering" corruption. I agree with you that it is either there or not, but they are playing a partisan game of keep away.

Certainly reeks of partizanship and not representative of all the citizens. And you know Nunes will be off at a gallop to the WH to further obstruct justice.

LOL, I won't type what I consider the House Intelligence Committee to be, but it's not a committee.

Outing the informant is problematic for our national security. No other informant can be sure that his/her identity will remain confidential after this. We're going to miss out on critical information that might have saved American lives because our ability to protect an intelligence asset from being exposed is gone. They won't tell us what we need to know, or ask the questions we need answered, if it puts them in jeopardy… and it will.

Trump, like me, just wants a fair press.

The press can ask whatever question they like. The administration can answer what they like, and not answer what they don't want to answer. That's how they should control their message, not by calling anything negative "fake news."

Elementary students are taught the difference between fact and opinion, and how propaganda works, and persuasive writing. The Fairness Doctrine was overturned years ago, so anyone can be a "news source" now. They can and do create things out of thin air. Have you seen FOX News recently? They do it every day. However, I have a feeling that's not the people you think are creating news out of thin air.

You have FOX, Limbaugh, Beck, Jones, what's the issue here? You don't see many calling to shut them down do you?

The "spy" sought out and initiated contact with Papadopoulos, whereupon he planted the knowledge (through the use of leading questions) of Russians having obtained Democrat/Clinton e-mails.

Afterward, the Australian diplomat (who had helped Hillary obtain $25million from the Australian government for the Clinton Foundation) somehow connected with Papadopoulos where he got Papadopolous to tell him about those e-mails.

That is a thing that makes me go: Hmmm...

Link me to a post where a member asked to shut FOX News down, that should be easy, just one poster in the last 3 years.

"That's how they should control their message, not by calling anything negative "fake news.""

That, in itself, is Fake News. It is a distortion of reality. It's just another fabricated narrative.

    What it is not:

It's not that we call it Fake News, because we don't like it.

    What it is:

It's that we don't like it, because it's Fake News.

Sorry, but Trump, himself, accidentally told everyone that negative news against Trump is what he considers fake news-

"The Fake News is working overtime. Just reported that, despite the tremendous success we are having with the economy & all things else, 91% of the Network News about me is negative (Fake). Why do we work so hard in working with the media when it is corrupt? Take away credentials?"

If "Elementary students" can figure it out why do so many adults fall for it? Like saying Trump called immigrants animals...

Or that Trump threw out MLK's bust.

Or that Trump was going to use the National Guard to invade Mexico..

Or why TO THIS DAY there are even posters here that thinks that Palin said that she could see Russia from here front porch..

Its because a lie that is told that people want to believe to them becomes factual and "retractions" days or weeks later have no impact to them.

Ah yes the Editor at large that spends his entire time doing nothing but writing opinion hit piece.... Are you suggesting the 91% stat is not correct?

No, I think he's suggesting that 90+% of that 91% isn't Fake News.... It's valid negative news against Trump...

You believe that tweet helps to prove your point.

    Wait for it

    Wait for it

    Animal!

Not sure.... seems to be a Yanni/Laurel situation here...

What I do is to ignore almost all of what Trump says or tweets, especially discussing stuff on that level....

Here's one that I easily ignore (just happened to display on MSNBC while I was typing)

"SPYGATE could be one of the biggest political scandals in history" - Posted 4:12 AM today.

Who can take that seriously? There's no evidence in his or Nunes' hands of this.. Sure, he says 'could be', but few are going to parse it out to that level...

Trump himself is easily the #1 creator of Fake News in the country today...

No... the problem with that was he didn't specify who he was talking about.... I agree it was most likely he was referring to MS13 members (in his head), but as usual, he wasn't clear.... he's incapable of being clear...

He was responding to a question about MS13, but went off on a tangent which wasn't clear he was talking about MS13 or immigrants in general. He never once (in that clip) uses the term MS13... ..... he says people.

I just went back and watched the clip. He's just not a good enough communicator to ramble on like he does and not get in trouble eventually (thus no interview with Mueller)

And yes, for the record to save you from asking, MS13 are animals and should be deported in record numbers...

He did he answered a question.. A Guardian "reporter" ran with it and our media quickly repeated it when a 30 second review of the video would have shown the context.. They were that desperate to smear him again they did not even do that kind of fact check./

The FBI and possibly the CIA working with them to spy on a campaign is not a big deal to you? So you would have no issue with say Wray investigating right now Harris, Booker, Warren amongst others including planting spys in their camps just in case they are doing something wrong?
