Jussie Smollett trial jury sees video of Osundairo brothers on the night of the attack

And I'm not sure that admitting to other crimes while already on trial is a great strategy, but his black & gay privilege in Chicago will probably help him avoid any charges for the drug abuse:

So let me get this straight. Now he says that the two guys who faked beating him up actually did beat him up and that forced Smollet to blame the attack on white supremacists. And some people don't believe that?

 

Folks, I just hacked into the DA's computer and swiped his closing arguments for tomorrow. Here they are:

Ladies, gentlemen and those of you who can't make up your mind,

For you to believe Smollett to be not guilty, you'd have to believe the following:
Homophobic MAGA racists would sit home and watch Empire's hip hop show featuring a gay black guy.
They'd have to watch often enough to be able to recognize that gay black guy in a moment's notice.
You'd have to think these two people would stake out a Subway at 2:00am in sub zero temps on the off chance this gay black guy shows up.
If he does show up, they'd have to be able to make sure it's him and not another black guy because to whites all blacks look alike, especially when dressed for sub zero weather.
You'd have to believe two people would stake out the Subway in the early AM hours in the freezing cold on the off chance this gay black guy will show up and they're going to carry around with them a noose and a bottle of bleach for that one time when he does.
Since two barbell boys assaulted the gay black guy in a sneak attack, you'd have to believe the unsuspecting gay black guy would be able to fight both of them off while never letting go of his sandwich or phone while suffering no injuries of any substance.
You'd have to believe the gay black guy didn't recognize either of the two attackers even though they spoke to him. A nigerian accent is a nigerian accent that not very many MAGA people have.
You'd have to ask yourself why Smollett identified his black attackers as being white when the two folks who admitted to attacking him are darker than midnight.
You'd also have to believe that in the freezing cold at 2:00am one of his attackers wouldn't be wearing a warm hat but instead be wearing a MAGA hat that provides no warmth at all.

 

He's all over the place. I'm waiting for him to namedrop Kamala.

 

....And all of this happened in the MAGA bastion known as downtown Chicago.

He committed multiple felonies. That is beyond reasonable doubt, but, he's Left and Connected which means he's pay no real price.

 

Even if convicted, he was probably only facing probation and restitution.
So, Big Whoop...

The class 4 felony carries a prison sentence of up to three years, but experts have said if Smollett is convicted he likely would be placed on probation and ordered to perform community service

 

If anything, this just proves that actors make terrible criminals. I mean, when your entire career depends on saying and doing what other people tell you to say and do, it doesn't exactly foster intellectual growth. Being a trained parrot doesn't translate well into becoming a mastermind, criminal or otherwise.

Maybe if Jussie were a writer, he could have pulled it off.
