I have always been surprised how many arab jews (most of whom are now Israel citizens) have told me that until the state of Israel was created they lived in peace and security in their original arab countries.

I have no idea if this is the opinion of most Arab Jews who were old enough to remember life in arab countries prior to the creation of Israel or not, I only know that many have expressed that sentiment.

 

This is because it's true.

The Middle East, Muslim countries was were Jews thrived in peace and freedom while being persecuted everywhere else. They were successful in the Middle East. Same with Christians.

There was none of this hatred we see today before the Khazars and Ashkenazi's started ethnically cleansing Palestine. The Zionist regime as "Israel" is so commonly called by some Middle Easterners, ruined this relationship.

A lot of modern anti-semitism is due to the fact that people can't separate between the Jewish people as such and the deplorable crimes and wrongdoings of the Israeli government. Luckily a lot of people are capable of criticizing human rights violations and violations of international law without caring about the religion and nationality of the perpetrators.

 

Even if you do try and seperate it, Zionists try and convince everybody insulting "Israel" is insulting Judaism and therefore anti-Semetic.

The problem with the word "anti-Semetism" is Jews aren't exclusive Semites. Arabs are also Semites. Arabic, like Hebrew, is a Semetic language. Genetically Middle Eastern Jews and Arabs are related.

Khazars, Ashkenazi are Judaism converts from Europe. They never were Semites, they never will be.

Palestinians are more Semetic than Zionists, and it's ironic how it's the Zionists who claim they are anti-Semites.

Zionism isn't Judasim, as many Rabbi's themselves will tell you, and there are some people who use anti-Zionism to turn it into something against Jews. That I don't support. It's scum like this that feed the Zionists "ammo" to play the "anti-Semetic" card.

 

Technically I may agree with your definition of semitism. But to keep things simple I use the term anti-semitism in its commonly understood historical form: those who suffered from it were those who unlike my German grandparents couldn't provide proof of their 'Aryan' (another joke term really that holds no real meaning) ancestry but had some Jews in their family-line.

It is true that Israeli politicians and lobbyists have tried to depict anybody who dared to criticize unjust Israeli politics as 'anti-smites' - a low tactic that exploits the victims of the holocaust for these people's own political agenda and that by now has probably done more to taint the victims' memories than any old-school Nazi could have done.

Unfortunately this forum for example is full of people who - often without intending so - feed to that tactic by their inability to differentiate between Israeli state politics/the less savoury forms of Zionism and Jews and Judaism as such.

Personally I could not care less about a person's race or creed. Human rights are universal and it's certainly time the Israeli government and fanatic right-wing ultra nationalist Israelis stopped treading on the Palestinians' human rights.

 

If Palestine continues to circumnavigate protocol for statehood i.e. (appeal to the UN first before negotiations are finished, and in some cases even before they begin) the prospects for peace in the middle east are dim in the extreme. That would be bad enough, but the worst part is that if there is war between any of the Arabs and Israel and the temple mound* is harmed or defiled, it’s likely to go nuclear and if that happens it’s likely to go medieval WW3 in a heart beat.

Not only Islam has an Armageddon prophesy so does Christianity. The difference is that Christianity predicts that Israel will be attacked, and who attacks her, describing what sounds like nuclear war. There are many Christian scripture that describe something like nuclear war, written over 2000 years ago. Lets pray that Palestine goes by the rules, the entire earth is at grave risk of death.

During my three visits to the Holy Lands before the 1967 war, there were NO soldiers in Jerusalem and even then the Dome of the Rock was open to the public.

My neighbors told me, there is so much crime in the city, that each and everyone had to be very careful.

You roam Jerusalem free.
I always carry my backpack and no probelem what so ever.
But when I went to Barcelona this summer, all the turist guides said there is huge crime.
In two days there I witnessed two footed police persutes. In one, the group that was fleeing jumped one by one over my 4 years old son (in Goel park).
So maybe Spain needs to return to the good old Muslim days, it was much more peacefull then...
