How many laws is this forum "domestic/international, etc.. "currently breaking due to huge amounts of racism/bigotory on the forums. And with being some part international forum that adds to the complications, and yes i do understand the posting rule policy but due to the nature of political hysteria on forums like this. I am amazed it even operates.
Being a racist/bigot isn't illegal... it's just stupid. Unfortunately, being stupid isn't illegal either. *sigh*
Our members enjoy voicing their opinions. As long as they do so within the rules of the forum, they may do so.
That amazes you? No offense, but are you new to the internet? This forum is relatively mild compared to many corners of the interwebz. Also, the site is hosted in the US and is therefore not subject to foreign anti-speech laws.
I was not speaking to "political correctness," rather, I was speaking of racism and bigotry. Stupidity and ignorance are breeding grounds for both. Yes, unfortunately, the PC mindset has run amok, but that is no excuse for racism and/or bigotry. One can not explain away racist remarks or actions, by simply saying... I'm not racist, I'm just not politically correct. Far too many persons attempt to mask their bigoted BS, with that lame excuse.
I agree ... besides, most Racist Cowards limit their garbage to where its safest for them. So in reality, it really is, "Only Words".
