You were. You were falsely stating that Republicans support the KKK and we do not. We want nothing to do with them. Especially given the fact that they are racist and were founded by Democrats trying to keep African Americans from integrating into society and keeping them poor and afraid. This is everything Republicans and Conservatives stand against. Yet, you blather on and on that we support them. That is an outright lie.

The whole idea behind studying history and keeping the statues in the South is to remember how far the country has come and to celebrate the equality of all Americans. The Civil War should be studied and I have no issue with Democrats who fought to keep slavery and to break from the Union to have statues and plaques. These are also symbols for an outpouring of grief and remembrance for the hundreds of thousands who had died in the war. Nearly a quarter of Southern men in their twenties were killed or died from disease, in this war. Tearing them down serves no purpose other than to cover up the deeds and an attempt to erase the past so younger generations can come along and "revise" history as they see fit.

Stop trying to rewrite history and stop parading around with your false flags about Republicans embracing these racist groups. It's dishonest, to say the least.

I'm only baiting you to be HONEST with the reality of the climate that currently exists. So is AA discrimination or not? Qualification based on race or gender. Lowering standards for some but not others? Are quotas fair or not? Look at what Google and other tech companies are doing and even Harvard? Disqualifying men is PURE discrimination. Are you saying its OK for there to be female ONLY scholarships, but no male ONLY scholarships? How about female ONLY conferences? Female ONLY awards. How about Minority ONLY versions of all the previous? How about jobs that a male is disqualified from or extremely discriminated against? Why is it OK for a female to be proud of being "empowered", but its bad for a man to feel the same? Why should a man be disparaged for acting "strong" while its celebrated when a female does? Its OK when a job is dominated by females, but NOT OK, if males are dominant in a field? We need to FIX industries with too many males, but when there're too many females, its not a problem. Why shouldn't people be treated equally? I know this is difficult for some people to discuss because it shows a problem certain people want to ignore. Toxic Masculinity is a problem but Feminism which is also toxic, is a GOOD thing?

If you feel its lowering yourself to engage in factual discussion, than its I laughing at you, for being ignorant, naive, or simply being intellectually dishonest. FACTS aren't idiotic unless you're too immature to deal with them, and considering you're ready to retire, maturity in age at least shouldn't be a problem. But maturity is about whats upstairs, not a number. And you already said something negative about men. You said it was a joke to claim there is male discrimination, and its completely factually untrue.

The KKK supports republicans and you are either naïve or just being totally dishonest if you think they don't.

That is not true for all republicans.

They were also what would be considered today as conservative and rightwing.

Well we know that statement alone is a lie. Do you think the alt-right are liberal democrats. Are you trying to tell folks that racist and the Klan today are democrats.

That's a crock of ****, go to Germany they don't have no damn statues of Hitler or Nazis around the country to show how far they have come.

I know you don't have an issue with it, that is what I said in the beginning.

These men were traitors and committed treason against the United States of America.

What a crock of ****, traitors and men who committed treason should not be honored with statues in town squares or have streets named after them or buildings named after them or any other honor.

Any American who finished the 8th grade can see through this farce you are trying to pull off. Sorry folks saw the radical, rightwing, conservatives in Charlottesville. We have seen the bullshit that has gone on at these radical, right wing Trump rallies.

Most of what you post here is pure nonsense or just straight comedy. Sometimes it's hard to discern the two. ;)

you are being dishonest when you say "the Democrats founded the KK" without adding the context that it was "CONSERVATIVES" who founded the KKK -- it is CONSERVATIVES who have been against the emancipation effort of every minority group in this country, be it blacks, women, etc --- and every time those CONSERVATIVES have been on the wrong side of history and had to resort to bullshit revisionist games to absolve themselves...

The conservative position during reconstruction was to resist the progressive move forward of emancipating slaves and giving them equal protection -- so Jim Crow laws were implemented by those CONSERVATIVES -- and now since the history has spoken and those CONSERVATIVES were on the wrong side -- they have people like you thinking saying "The democrats started the KKK" -- rewrites history..

    He obviously doesn't care.

So, it is probably best to humor him (or ignore him altogether) depending on how much time you have to waste here.

I have long since given up even attempting to go back and forth with these RW's that are absolutely convinced that "1+1=3" .

He, obviously, is at PF for the express purpose of pounding the Trump Drum 24/7.

And, of course, that is his right.

But, hey--It's a free country (and as long as he can get his RW BS past the radar of the Mods, it means little to me)
    .

Anyway, this thread has been hijacked a long way from the OP.

    So, back on topic:

Kanye West is a Complete Idiot, and nobody (except RW's trying to embrace him as some kind of "mascot") cares about what he does or says.

False. It's amazing the lengths and breadth of lies the far left goes to to try and separate themselves from their past. The KKK was founded by the Democrats who were furious over losing the Civil War. In fact, it started with 6 Confederate soldiers.

The Democratic KKK was burning black churches and schools so Union Army Veterans moved in and put a stop to it. Americans working with the recently freed slaves from the South patrolled the streets and kept these Democrats from torching property and "whipping" people. The history is there for you to read but the amount of distance you want to put between the Democrats and their founding of the KKK will prevent you from understanding it.

It's American history and you should know and understand it. But make no mistake about it, The KKK was formed by the Democrats. Republicans reject such racism.

Oh look, Clinton ties to the KKK:

What have we here???? A KKK member Democrat serving as a Senator: :roflol:

In the early 1940s, Byrd recruited 150 of his friends and associates to create a new chapter of the Ku Klux Klan in Sophia, West Virginia.[10][11]

According to Byrd, a Klan official told him, "You have a talent for leadership, Bob ... The country needs young men like you in the leadership of the nation." Byrd later recalled, "Suddenly lights flashed in my mind! Someone important had recognized my abilities! I was only 23 or 24 years old, and the thought of a political career had never really hit me. But strike me that night, it did."[17] Byrd became a recruiter and leader of his chapter.[11] When it came time to elect the top officer (Exalted Cyclops) in the local Klan unit, Byrd won unanimously.[11]

In December 1944, Byrd wrote to segregationist Mississippi Senator Theodore G. Bilbo:

I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side ... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.

    — Robert C. Byrd, in a letter to Sen. Theodore Bilbo (D-MS), 1944[11][18]
In 1946, Byrd wrote a letter to a Grand Wizard stating, "The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation."[19] However, when running for the United States House of Representatives in 1952, he announced "After about a year, I became disinterested, quit paying my dues, and dropped my membership in the organization. During the nine years that have followed, I have never been interested in the Klan." He said he had joined the Klan because he felt it offered excitement and was anti-communist.[11]

Nah, you're just butthurt when facts get in the way of your feelings. KKK members did vote for Hillary and did support her. The Democrats founded the KKK and have been the party of the KKK since it's inception.

You can revise history all you want but facts are facts and they don't care about your feelings. :)

Democrats are the Party of Lynching, KKK, Dred Scott, Jim Crow, Rape and Slavery.

Republicans are the Party of Liberation

I love how Progressives think they can rewrite recent history that it inconvenient to their views.
