trump made a deal with China that we have to share, didn't he?

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...-deal-seen-boosting-grain-container-shipments

"A deal ending the trade spat between the U.S. and China would boost container shipments of grain, wheat and soybeans, according to the head of Japan’s largest container-shipping company."

Turkey will likely tell Russia to **** off again and oversea the grain shipments themselves. That is if China doesn't tell them to smarten up. Pay close attention to the dots on the map I posted and whom is supposed to get that grain.

    Am not worried.

Not worried about what ? It is not clear what you one should be worried or not worried about.

Who knows what Turkey will do as is playing both sides of the Fence .. Don't think China will say much .. they will get as much Grain from Russia as they need .. and are happy to see economic destabilization as it helps to forward the new BRICS+ currency .. which is a big worry..

The realization of a valid competitor to the US system of international trade .. US "SOLE STATUS" as world reserve currency .. is about as big as it gets .. so you lack of worry is unfounded :)

Do you not remember Turkey's stance last time we were in this position? Here...let me help.
    https://www.reuters.com/world/middl...al-efforts-after-russia-hesitates-2022-10-31/

"Even if Russia behaves hesitantly because it didn't receive the same benefits, we will continue decisively our efforts to serve humanity," Erdogan said in a speech."

Would you think that he's changed his tune on this matter?

    As for China?

    https://foreignpolicy.com/2023/05/17/russia-ukraine-grain-deal-china-food-security/

Ukraine controls the grain dude. It's not Russia. Russia is just allowing use of ports for shipment. But at the end of the day...Ukraine has the grain.

Surely the band camp knows the bridge, even if completely destroyed, makes no difference. Nevertheless, the support columns are undamaged and two lanes are useable for civilian traffic if need be. This latest terrorist attack will go away like a fart in the wind.....Vlad gonna have the bridge fixed within a month, mark it.

The trains are still running. Kinda missed that part, eh? :bored:

    Yup....let's "mark it" Bill?

Kinda like the 3 day op going on day 500+?

Must be embarrassing for Vladimoron to have his "bridge" hit twice within a year....:roflol:, so much for security around this fiasco.

I say the next hit should be Oct 7 again....right on the midgets birthday again.....this time it totally collapses.:)

A BRICS Currency Could Shake the Dollar’s Dominance
De-dollarization’s moment might finally be here.
    https://foreignpolicy.com/2023/04/24/brics-currency-end-dollar-dominance-united-states-russia-china/

Paywall link. I wonder what is beyond the headline.

Also, here is another paywalled story from the same author:

    Don’t Discount the Dollar Yet
China may want to displace the dollar with the yuan as the global reserve currency, but its actions are leading to the opposite.
By Joseph W. Sullivan, a senior advisor at the Lindsey Group and a former special advisor and staff economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisers during the King Leer administration.

If some stories are easier to tell than others, the decline of the U.S. dollar as a reserve currency is one of them. It’s not hard to see why. The cast of characters that avail themselves for the script includes international trade, financial architecture, great-power competition, cycles of history, and even parables from ancient Greece.

And I'm pretty sure most BRICS members aren't even all that eager to replace the USD anyway. It's not like the USD as reserve currency is some kind of problem to a country that isn't putting itself at odds with the US. On the contrary, it's a nice stable rock they can rely on.

The Black Sea is controlled by Russia. Russia could impose an economic blockade on Ukraine by disrupting the distribution of grains exported from Ukrainian ports. It was really effective against Japan in the 1940s, leading to the country's economic collapse and surrender.

No...they're not eager to replace $US anytime soon....when there's financial uncertainty in the world....others rally to $US for stability.

Exactly. Trying to destabilize the USD would be a big self-own.

BS is not entirely controlled by Mafiosi....you have NATO states around ....Turkey included....once Ukraine is in NATO....BS will be a NATO lake ...just like Baltic is now....same as Gulf of Finland/Bothnia.
