Democrats are going to be rightfully voted out in 2024. But even as a republican I recognize a need for both sides of the political isle. Not wanting either to retain control indefinetly.

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, August 30

Ukrainian forces began striking Russian pontoon ferries across the Dnipro River on August 29, which is consistent with the start of the Ukrainian counteroffensive. The effects of destroying ferries will likely be more ephemeral than those of putting bridges out of commission, so attacking them makes sense in conjunction with active ground operations. Ukrainian military officials confirmed that Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian pontoon-ferry crossing in Lvove, approximately 16km west of Nova Kakhovka on the right bank of the Dnipro River on August 29.[1] Ukrainian and Russian sources have also reported that Ukrainian forces struck a pontoon crossing constructed out of barges near the Antonivsky Road Bridge.[2]

Ukrainian forces have long undertaken efforts to destroy Russian ground lines of communication (GLOCs) prior to the announcement of the counteroffensive operation, which likely indicates that Ukrainian forces are committed to a long-term effort - composed of both strikes and ground assaults. Ukrainian strikes on Russian GLOCs disrupt the Russians’ ability to supply and reinforce their positions with manpower and equipment, which will assist Ukrainian ground counteroffensives. Satellite imagery shows that Russian forces are continuing to use ferries to transfer a limited amount of military equipment daily via the Dnipro River.[3]

The Ukrainian counteroffensive is thus a cohesive process that will require some time to correctly execute. The Kremlin will likely exploit the lack of immediate victory over Kherson City or Ukrainian operational silence on the progress of the Ukrainian counteroffensive to misrepresent Ukrainian efforts as failing and to undermine public confidence in its prospects.

This is the beginning of the end of Russia's illegal occupation and theft of Ukrainian land and its genocidal attempts to erase Ukrainian language and culture.

Lots of good news. It seems Ukraine has also managed to produce some wooden mock-ups of HIMARS and baited Russia into wasting expensive KALIBR cruise missiles on them :)

Uninformed is the person that thinks Germany with 100% reserves filled makes it through the winter. They need 100% AND nordstream 1 running at 100% to get through the winter. One (or both) of those ain't gonna happen.

The Germans will do just fine. They are resilient and resourceful people.
The only real question is when the post-Putin government in Russia will be able to resume providing gas.

They'll do fine if they import a :icon_shithappens:load of coal. And that's their only option.

Putin, no Putin, the virtue signalers in Western Europe say they don't need Russia. So they need to suck it up buttercup....spin the twirly jig wind mills....plug in those solar panels during the cloudy winter. I'm sure all will be well.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::fingerscrossed:

You will need them to fund the charities and recovery projects on which Russians will depend for quite some time.

Orcs got fooled Bill....wooden decoy HIMARS were used as bait....and the orcs fell for it...hook,line,&sinker. Not only did they waste missiles but gave away their positions....so...by now the REAL HIMARS took care of those launchers and dozens of dead low IQ kolorads.

Great dubious video with the "Z" in great top left...I can imagine who made this.

informed people would know, that Russia is as of now only supplying 6% of NG of the total NG Germany is using, down from nearly 40%.
NS1 has been running at only 20% of capacity for month, with several complete "service" shut downs. At the beginning of the war, Germany's underground storages were at 20%, the storages owned by Gazprom Germany, were empty, what a surprise.
According to German Government, with 85% and the new sources Germany has, especially Norway and LNG from all over the World, including China (!!!!!!), Germany will have energy security, even if NS1 is completely shut off. Normally Germany goes with 60% storage capacity into the winter. Added to that whole mix the 2 new LNG terminals coming online in December.
Puttler has shot himself into both feet, because he does not understand how resilient, innovative and fast reacting a free economy and country can be
