This is a poll question that has a very short response time frame (three days) because it will be repeated several more times as we head into 2021, and hopefully have a better of idea of what our total situation is.

I'm designing it so that your vote will not be displayed publicly. No changing of votes is allowed, and you must vote in order to see the results.

A very simple question, really... knowing what you know as of TODAY, would you choose to be vaccinated against the COVID virus using either of the two vaccines available to Americans today? Yes, or, no....

While I'm certain that by the time my 'category' of American citizen is considered worthy enough to be eligible for the vaccine (probably sometime next spring), I'll be more motivated to be vaccinated than I would be today. Truth? I wouldn't want to take it today....

There are just too many 'unknowns' at this point, including whether or not it really would be effective against this dreaded, new "mutation" that popped-up last week in England. The medical research experts just don't know yet, and when you add the new "we don't know's" to the list of old "we don't know's", it creates a body of questions-without-answers that I'm not comfortable with -- yet.

But, maybe we'll know a LOT more by next April or May... unless all we really have by then are just a LOT more unanswered questions.

Hint: the possibility of future 'mutations' is virtually limitless....

It'll be years before I even consider taking it.

The moment my City tells me I can receive it, I will gladly allow them to inject the vaccine(s) in my arm.

No, I will never get the vaccine and especially right now.

I\They are basically guessing if it's safe or not.

The manufacturers and other specialists have said they don't know the long term effects of the disease or the cure and it may be better or may be worse.

It was rushed out the door so they didn't have time to properly test it and even the tests that did show problems, well they just ignored them like the facial paralysis happening to many people.

You may or may not get Covid and even if you do it's really only a threat to very small groups but if you take the vaccine you just signed up for whatever problems it may have.

I'll take my chances with covid because here's the thing.and I will explain this in very simple terms.

Vaccines work by exposing your body to whatever disease it is in a controlled way where the disease cannot operate independently.

Basically there is nothing for the disease to infect since you already have the infection so it simply goes dormant and dies.

So vaccines are designed to make you sick and infected to prevent you from getting worse.

They are just inherently wrong at a basic level. I get how they work but they really need extensive testing to show they are safe, not just a year.
