Lauren Boebert, Colorado's Republican congresswoman representing a huge swath of western and southern Colorado, said in the 2024 election, she plans on changing districts.

Boebert said in a Facebook video that she intends to seek office in Colorado's 4th Congressional District, which covers the eastern plains, currently represented by Ken Buck. Buck said last month that he won't seek reelection in 2024.

"I wanted to let you, my constituents and supporters, hear directly from me about my plans for the 2024 election cycle and the importance of maintaining a conservative voice for Colorado in Congress as well as keeping our Republican House majority," she wrote in the caption of that Facebook video.

Yes, I wanted to let my constituents know that ....'I'm outta here, suckers'....

You know what they say.... When the groping gets tough, the tough get groping...

Will the 4th district welcome this bomb thrower with open arms.... and open legs?

Why in the world would they?

How can you just switch districts?
She knew she'd lose in her current district.

An avalanche of money is coming to kick Lauren Boebert ...

So District 4 is on the other side of the state.
    Curious what those voters think?
She still has to do a primary and she may be looked at as the lying, trashy, hypocritical Christian that she is.

    Ah yes.
"my children" always "my children" :roflol:

    snip:

"The 3rd District leans 9 percentage points in Republicans’ favor while the 4th District leans 27 points toward the GOP, according to a nonpartisan analysis of election results from 2016 to 2020 by staffers for the Colorado legislature. Boebert doesn’t have to live in the 4th District to represent it.

“I did not arrive at this decision easily,” Boebert said in a Facebook video announcing the move. “A lot of prayer, a lot of tough conversations and a lot of perspective convinced me that this is the best way I can continue to fight for Colorado, for the conservative movement and for my children’s future.:roflol:

Colorado's District 4 has been re-electing Ken Buck so Hoebert obviously has a chance.
Buck hasn't had a primary challenger since 2014 so maybe Hoehoe was promised no challenger?

The writing is on the wall in District 3. But, I can’t believe the people on the Eastern Plains would embrace her. I think BimBobert has bartending in her future.

Good move for Boebert to go to friendlier territory.
She is set for life in a Safe R District as long as she avoids a hotly contested Primary.
And, even if somebody decided to run against her for the GOP Nom., it would be a fool's errand and Lauren would steamroll them...

I hope there aren’t enough Coloradans left that she could get elected to a gun club.

I was waiting for your blatant misogyny and even though I had to read almost to the end of the post I wasn't disappointed.

    Keep it classy ego.

Plenty of Democrats don't even live in the district they supposedly represent but of course you don't have a damn thing to say about it

That's the mindset of GOPers who want to stay in power at any cost. Instead of voters picking them, they pick their voters (note that gerrymandering achieves the same thing). In this case, she'd be picking her voters by moving to a safer GOP district. And then, they pretend they are FOR democracy.

Of course, she'd still have to fend off the GOP primary challenger. She'd probably have to move a little further to the right for that. Or, if that doesn't work, get a gig on Fox News or Newsmax. She definitely looks the part, with makeup to the hilt, and the occasional photo in tight outfit brandishing an assault rifle. Just like Trump supporters like it. Most of them are easily played.

Well, mostly to inform you that a cowardly Republican is leaving her seat to "move" to a safer district to try and capture a new seat in an attempt to stay completely irrelevant in Congress...

Take from it what you will...

Is that something 'you heard' or 'people are saying'?

Please name one that politically announced a move to District B while currently represenging District A

And I can never be less classy that the horny Congresswoman from Colorado.... That ship done sailed...

It doesn't shock you that a politician that rails against the ill defined deep state bogeyman would then go ahead and use the levers of power to maintain her job at the expense of the actual constituents living there? Carpetbagging is rare enough in US politics that it certainly merits being pointed out. Here it is even more noteworthy as she is moving away from her home just to try to stay in power.
    It is actually worth discussing.
Also, by your logic, pretty much all posts at PF would get the answer "the point of this thread other than to bash a non-republican or non-democrat?"

Not an intern, her actual date for the evening.... at something other than a tractor pull or gun show.

Although I gather there might have been payment involved in either case...
