If you don't pay a parking ticket, and they send you notice after notice and then finally a cop himself and they find you barricaded in your house and brandishing a Winchester they will indeed roll the SWAT team, and I would expect them to do nothing else.

Again, the police are not obliged to risk their lives when dealing with violent nut cases, and that's exactly what this guy is. Only the general public is legally obligated to suffer from violent nut cases, and then only if they're called Republican Congress-people

read the Nevada Constitution which gives the federal government control of that land and then read article IV section 3 of the U.S. Constitution which give Congress the power to control that land, which they do through the BLM. You would be correct in your analysis if the Articles of Confederation were still in force, but the Constitution replaced the Articles a couple of hundred years ago.
