His supporters are not pointing guns at innocent people.

    The police are.

Think about that for a second.

To defend yourself from the 2 hundred heavily armed federal gunman who showed up to steal a mans property, and enforce government abuse of power.

The dude only owes 300k, it prolly cost double that to send in helicopters to run his cattle to death in a desert.

I think our blood thirsty progressives should head out to the Bundy ranch and show the Feds how it's done.
    Any takers? No pun intended.

    A few details

His aunt, conveniently not further identified, is not the president.

Want is one thing. Did is another. There's a difference.

No thanks colonel Klink, we try to keep our tax system somewhat fair in this country.
Is that what happens on Gilligans island when you tick off the queen? Punative taxation.
    How barbaric.

I'm the one putting a twist on this story? So all those other law abiding cattle ranchers who DO PAY the GRAZING FEES (who also keep beef prices down) are fools for paying those fees? Why haven't we read stories about them? I don't eat much BEEF and I am not poor. We do eat a helluva lot of seafood. I'll call Costco and see if their 'wild caught salmon' has any crazyass FISHERMAN (and militia friends) that we might have to be concerned with for BREAKING THE LAW.

Gun-toting outlaws is barbarity. And the inappropriate misspelled word is "punitive"

But you are perfectly OK with the US government using military force to resolve a tax issue? Is there any sanity left in the liberal world?

Name one time in the history of the United States when the government brought in the military with guns drawn to resolve a tax issue?

What do you call a below-bridge dweller who inserts random unrelated attacks in a discussion? Starts with "T"....

They think 12 guys dressed in camo and/or cowboy hats, carrying guns and driving a pickup truck makes a 'milita'. Perhaps they think that is what the founders had in mind when they used the term 'well regulated militia'.

Article 1 Section 8, the Congress is to supply the "well regulated militia".

If you are going to use the "a well regulated" argument, be sure to know what you are talking about.

They are nothing more then a bunch of yahoo's who think they can play soldier; imagine if the government opens up on them? We'll It's been said that you have to thin the herd sometime. While I hope this doesn't happen, maybe this might be the beginning.

I don't believe you, I think you really hope this does go to shooting, it would be an excuse to grab guns from citizens and reinvigorate the gun control issue...

Talk of 'thinning the herd' tends to raise a few flags.

    In Aerosmith's defense: "Janie's Got a Gun"
